How much hair is falling out? Are we talking clumps or are we talking... just a few hairs here and there. You can start by eating more jello. Gelatin will help with hair and nail growth. Also... start taking vitamins. And you might want to begin using a shampoo that is high in vitamins like Pantene or maybe get a shampoo that is for regrowing hair. Just don't get it on your ears.

Edited to add...
Ok... just a few hairs falling out is perfectly normal. You have more than 100,000 hairs on your head, even if it is thin, but you lose some every day. About 50 to 100 hairs fall out each day, while you're washing your hair, brushing or combing it, or just sitting still. But don't worry, new hairs are constantly replacing those that have fallen out.

Each hair on your head grows for about 2 to 6 years. Then it rests for a few months and finally falls out. It is replaced by a new hair, which begins to grow from the same hair follicle. This cycle of hair growing, resting, falling out, and being replaced helps to maintain just the right number of hairs on your head.

If it's coming out in clumps or handfulls of hair then you should be worried and seek medical advice.

Jello will help. Vitamins will help. A daily vitamin will really help. And so will a shampoo like Pantene Pro-V or if you can find Mane and Tail in the the pets department of WalMart, it's supposed to be for horses but I use this ALL the time and it's just fine for human use. Plus it smells really good and comes in a HUGE bottle.

Okay... the number one reason for women losing hair is STRESS. Your nutrition is very important too. Nioxin is a wonderful shampoo and conditioner for loss and growth stimulation. Prenatal vit are great for hair and nail growth, might want to start w/ 1/2, they can be a bit much if your not pregnant. Hope this helps!
