Look up bridal shops or wedding shops in the phonebook. A lot of them rent out dresses. My cousin did that and she got a beautiful dress plus the hoop that went under it. Only cost her about $115.

Honestly a lot of discount shops like Gordman's etc have a good selection of dresses. You might be able to find one that works for the occassion.. I'm talking like $20 bucks.

There are consignment shops that specialize in wedding and evening wear. There should be one in your town. Check the phone book.

Check consignment shops in your area. Many consignment shops have wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and prom dresses. Good luck and congratulations!!!

My cousin is getting married and she is getting her dresses from the House of Brides. They are not expensive depending on what type of dress you like and they're having a sale. Try their website www.houseofbrides.com

Check newspaper buy and sell section. These dresses are only worn once. It's worth a dry cleaning bill.

My friend got hers on clearance at Marshall's, and it was gorgeous! You just have to look around and be open to checking stores that are not traditional bridal stores.
