Hair - January 2007

I know mostly every hair stylist can thin out a womans hair, but what about a guys? My hair is extremely thick and is about a medium length, but its realy bushy and stuff. Is there anyway i could thin it out, or if I walked into a place and ask would I complelty embarass myself?

It's a little past the middle of my back. It's healthy though, so it looks good. I love my hair but I'm tempted to just cut it to stop her from bugging me about it. I mean, I'm 17 years old so it is my choice.....what do you think? Should I just cut it?

my hair is light black or REALLY dark brown and i want to add some colour to it. i was thinking 3 different colours of streaks. PURPLE, DIRTY BLONDE AND DARK RED. anyways if those colours wouldn't look good which colours would?

Okay I am having really big issues with my hair, see I am growing it out and the longer it gets the thinner it gets! And I think I actually found a spot where it is REALLY starting to thin out...SOmeone told me to use Sunsilk thickening shampoo. Has anyone ever used it and if you have does it just make it look thicker or does it actually make it thicker? Or if you have any other tips that would be great! (but I am not cutting my hair short again I am determind to grow it out!!)

i have thick hair and ive got tight ringlets underneath but the top of my hair is just a bit flicky, how do i get the top of my hair curly without using gel and scrunch drying it so its all sticky?

I bleached my dark mahogany hair last night (real color is mousy brown), and of course all of it turned a real pretty sunset orange except for two inches of nasty yellow blond from the scalp down. I really dig the orangy color and want to dye the roots the same. I matched the color to Ginge Spice by Garnier, can I do this without it turning green. And no, before you say anything, I can not go to the stylist. They wanted 200.00 bucks to bleach my hair in the first place. Please give advise.

Or a little lighter maybe. I want to get highlights. I have an appointment for tomorrow and i was going to get their opinion but i would like to get your opinions to. I do have kind of pale skin. I have never died my hair before either. I was thinking about a type of blonde or maybe caramel highlights... What do you guys think??

and want to know if i can use a head lice shampoo as a treatment in case i have caught them. not sure about the chemicals that might be in there as i know you are not supposed to colour your hair whilst pregnant because of the chemicals.

i am not fussed on her hair style but would really love to know how she achieves her hair color. i had highlights done recently but they are practically invisible now and have faded even though i use proper blonde products. i want to go as blonde as hers, my hair is dark blonde at the minute! please help,what do i need to ask for or do to get this look?

I've got medium to long hair with a side fringe thing that's growing out. Been like this for years and i'm getting bored with it. Need a new look but something that is manageable. I have medium brown hair and get honey coloured highlight. As i say it's been like this for years now and i desperately need a change. Any sugestions?!! Thanks!
