To get in the habit of starting to do hair and makeup:
1. Get up 15 or 20 minutes early in the morning.
2. Start by gradually putting on little makeup(like mascara, lip gloss, and maybe some blush) and when you are sort of used to it you should start putting on a little more(stuff that adds color like eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lipstick).
3. For your hair, start by doing simple things like ponytails and clips and then you could try braiding or curling or crimping.
Well I hope I helped you a little bit.

take a picture of yourself before you fix yourself and after. Hang them on your mirror and make a commitment to get up and fix hair and put on you make-up everyday. You can do your makeup in 5 min. and your hair in 5 to 10 min. depending on the style. It will make you feel better about yourself and you will walk taller and believe me everything seem better.
I think it takes 21 days to make a habit.

Turtleluvver is so right. When I was 14 (wa-ay-ay back in the 60s), an older man told me I had the most beautiful doe eyes he had ever seen. It became my mission to accentuate those eyes to make everyone notice them--you can imagine the results of a 14-year-old with blue eyeshadow and mascra out to there and don't forget eyeliner--but I thought it was be-you-tiful.
