Honestly, the best thing to determine what color would be best for you is to look more at the tone of your skin rather than the lightness or darkness of it. If it's more in the neutral or ashy range (think Alicia Keys) it's best to stay in the dark brown or black range. If it has a warmer tint to it you can probably pull off lighter colors with more gold and caramel tones. One important thing to remember is that if your hair is naturally very dark (and it probably is) blonde is pretty difficult. Don't try anything lighter than a medium brown (or light brown if you want gold or red tones) unless you go to a proffessional or really know what you're doing and can properly use proffessional products.

Being a 36 year old lady and having long given up my dream of getting a fairer skin tone. Aside from my age, I am of African-American lineage and have dark spots on my eyebrows and cheeks. They were the cause of years of embarrassment because people constantly looked and stared at them! I have tried make-ups to cover them up but they hardly worked. When I came across this product and read the testimonials, I immediately made my purchase and tried your different approach. A few days later, I am seeing that my skin is already getting whiter which brought a new level of confidence in my personality.. Whiten Your Skin Naturally?

if your hair is already brown, get some light brown/blonde highlights.

if you wanna change the color completely, go burnt orange or some type of red.

a lot of girls at my school (light-skinned and dark), go a lil too hood and get blue or purple or even dark green. ( a lot of them get their individuals like that---half black/half the other color)

i am light myself. I had a long, jet black hair already and many people knew me for having what they called 'chinese girl hair', i got some white highlights in december and i'm planning on getting it cut. it's odd but, i love it.

I would tell you to go with a light golden hair color or a medium toned brwn i think those colors would really benefit you good because of your light skinned

when you say light skin (?) how light is it. since I'm not sure of your skin tone or highlights of your skin, some people may have more yellow tones or more orange or red tones. this is important when selecting a color. i think a nice neutral color would be auburn with copper highlights

if you have blonde hair that will naturally get bleached by the actual sun in the summer. There had been this guy in my class who else had golden blonde hair that had been a medium brown near the base. When he came back to school after summer vacation, it was nearly platinum blonde!

Jet black hair. I have really dark brown hair and I think dark hair looks better. I may really like blonde hair.

just like a really dark solid color would look good and not cheap and it would highlight your face
