Hair - January 2007

My hair is waist long, slightly dry, split end prone, wavy/straight and gets staticky. I used to flat iron my hair but, of course, I stopped......I have already tried the following brands/ products:
John Freida,
Suave,
TRESemme,
Herbal essences Dangerousley Straight,
Bath and Body Works For dry hair,
Granier Fructis for colored hair (mine isnt colored),
Maine and Tail,
Pantine 2 in 1,
Infusium,
Aussie products,
Bed Head, and

...They didnt work at all....
I am picking between the following shampoos/ conditioners and I need to know which is best and why.

Garnier Fructis: Sleek and Shine,
Herbal Essences: Hello Hydration,
Herbal Essences: Break's over,
Garnier Fructis: Long and Strong,
Sunsilk Hydra TLC......

So, If you could tell me which is best and why, let me know because I have tried so many that I cant stand to take another wrong turn, BUT I am totally willing to try anything at this point!! Also, if you have any other tips, let me know...... THANK YOU!

my hairstylist thinned my hair out and it turned out pretty nice but she only thinned out the back. i wanted all my hair to be thinner so i bought the scissors and i thinned it out myself. i used to have very wavy and mostly curly hair, but i made my hair way too thin! now its very light waves. its pretty but too thin. what should i do??

i want to buy the dangerously straight and none of your frizziness. I have wavy hair and it frizzes, sometimes, and gets really nice and wavy sometimes. i want it to be straight but sometimes curly too. I also have side bangs.

My natural hair color is black.. right now i have it black with light brown highlights. My skin is really pale- kinda white and i have light brown eyes. I dont wanna look very pale. So i dont know what color will look right. i want to die it all black because dark hair looks healtier and shinier dan light hair. so what color do you think will look best Not including blonde!! please i need to know how do u divide your hair into sections by yourself , is it hard to do that by yourself ( straightening process ) ????

why do some women have a problem with hairy men??? personally i think it's the biggest turn on ever. my boyfriend is a hairy monkey and i bought him a trimmer so he doesn't shave is beard he just trims it once a week so it looks like he has his 5 o'clock shadow every day. i know a lot of women who think the hairy men are disgusting. what's the opinion elsewhere??????

I've tried everything. Please don't suggest I stop washing it so often as this has not worked. I have tried various shampoos, I don't put conditioner on the roots, and eat relatively well.
