My hair is waist long, slightly dry, split end prone, wavy/straight and gets staticky. I used to flat iron my hair but, of course, I stopped......I have already tried the following brands/ products:
John Freida,
Suave,
TRESemme,
Herbal essences Dangerousley Straight,
Bath and Body Works For dry hair,
Granier Fructis for colored hair (mine isnt colored),
Maine and Tail,
Pantine 2 in 1,
Infusium,
Aussie products,
Bed Head, and

...They didnt work at all....
I am picking between the following shampoos/ conditioners and I need to know which is best and why.

Garnier Fructis: Sleek and Shine,
Herbal Essences: Hello Hydration,
Herbal Essences: Break's over,
Garnier Fructis: Long and Strong,

So, If you could tell me which is best and why, let me know because I have tried so many that I cant stand to take another wrong turn, BUT I am totally willing to try anything at this point!! Also, if you have any other tips, let me know...... THANK YOU!

And I will cut it when it gets longer, it is just that I have been growing it for so long that It is too hard to cut cut it yet. Plus, your hair that you donate is only 1/16th of the hair in the wig, so only parts of it are used. I dont know if it is worth it. :)
So far the answers are great and I am leaning twoard Neutrogina!

I have the same problem...ive used alot of the others but within the last month I started using the sunsilk hydra tlc..I use the shampoo/conditioner and the 24/7 creme. I love it and it has improved the condition of my hair. I got a good trim before I used it and havent had split ends since. Good luck

you could desire to trim it each and every 6-8 weeks, yet purely a trim. Do a deep conditioner a million-2 situations a week. and confirm you're utilising expert products, like Matrix Biolage Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioning Balm. you additionally can use a smoothing cream for earlier or after hair is dry. something like AfterParty from TIGI BedHead, or Glass by Redken, or great skinny by Paul Mitchell.

Try Loreal Nutri-Gloss shampoo and conditioner (in the light pink bottle...there is 3 formulations of Nutri-gloss, normal, dry, and curly. Pick the one that would pertain to your hair type.) or John Frieda Brilliant Brunette shampoo and conditioner for darker shades. These have worked great on my hair to make it soft, shiny and manageable. Also before you blow dry put Aveda Elixer leave-in conditoner on your hair. These are wonderful products.

Use Nexus Hemuctres leave in conditioner. It does not matter what shampoo. And stop irioning it. Let it dry naturally. Theres no need for split ends. I have baby fine hair and thin so I have to perm for fullness and it would be very ate up if I did not use the Hemectrus.

I'm a bit confused... what are you looking for? Shinier hair? I find that Ganier Fructis products work wonderfully... my hair gets staticky and I use Ganier Fructis conditioner, and that makes my hair flatter and smoother. I also use a syurm called Biosilk... and it makes you hair shiny, and soft. And unstaticky.
I would try Garnier Fructis... you do not need to use a lot of the product, and it makes a big defference with your hair!

well, i'm going to suggest trying a BLACK HAIR CARE product that is AWESOME! it's OPTIMUM CARE and works very well with any hair type. whatever the difficulty, OPTIMUM CARE seems to get to the 'root' of it and fix it. i'm a Black woman with 'Caucasion' hair and it works very well on my split ends, etc.

however, if that doesn't work, how about you cut your hair off and donate it for young girls surviving cancer in need of wigs! how AWESOME would you be then!!! giving back and looking good! it's only hair. your's will grow back. others' won't. plus, do something NEW for 2007... cut you a style!!! waist-length isn't really a style.... good luck!

try Deep made by bumble and bumble its a deep conditioner. i have went from brown to blond so many times, my hair was fryed then i tryed this stuff. they sell it in sample size bottles as well if you want to try it out before buying a big bottle. nioxin is also great for damaged hair to use for a shampoo. I think salon products are so much better than store bought.

I don't know which one is the best but herbal essances is the worst. All it is made of is wax which will not allow your hair to breathe.

Try hairapy. You can get it for split ends, or the wavy/ curly hair problem.
