Hair - December 2006

My hair is extremely dry. I made the mistake of dying it about 3 weeks ago and it is fried. I've been using all kinds of conditioners...deep treatment from Aveda, Redken and have been putting leave-in conditioner in when I get out of the shower. What else can I use/do to pump some moisture into my hair.

PS: I have curly hair and I wash it every other day to avoid drying it more...don't know what else to do!

- it is fun for me to have blonde hair
- it really suits me because i am very pale with green eyes
- it is getting pretty damaged bc it is long
- darker hair might look better with my features (i am naturally brunette)
- my husband says i look better with brown hair and he likes brown hair better in general

I have blonde curly hair, and its really dry... also, about a fortnight after I go to the salon the colour turns brassy... I have thought about going dark, but I have always had blonde hair and i like being blonde, plus my boyfriend loves me light... aargh! Im also scared that if i go dark, ill hate it and wont ever get my blonde colour back :o( I just want to know what can do to make my hair soft, but keep the curls in place... i use mousse, but it goes all hard, and im just not a fan! i am 17 and have really curly medium length hair.
it was really long...but i cut it. anyways im half spanish and black. i want a new hairstyle for my hair. i wear it in pigtails everyday, which is pretty lame. i hate my hair but im not gonna waste time sraightening it because it doesnt work anyways.

you know... sebum... the oil that comes out of your skin? Well I have long hair and the ends are always missing out on the sebum. Brushing doesn't distribute it all the way down. What oil can I lightly apply at the roots that is most similar to sebum?

Also, I currently have Burt's Bees Baby Bee Apricot Oil and Burt's Bees Vitamine E (lemon?) oil. Can I use either one of those on my hair or am I better off going without?

i really, really enjoy playing with hair, and massaging a girl's head; but my gf's hair isn't...well...sexy. she is absolutely beautiful in every way, but her hair has been described as "baby fine but lots of it". she's not dirty, she just doesn't have healthy hair i guess. i can't run my fingers thru it w/o getting tangled, and it's difficult to keep clean. i feel like the only thing missing w/ us is me being able to run my fingers thru her hair. are there any products that can help this...or am i too picky?? or, any ladies w/ lucious hair out there like scalp massages and their hair played w/?

Hi. I've been taught by a friend how to do my makeup but I dont' really like it. All I put on is eyeshadow eyeliner and mascara.
No lipgloss no blush no nothing. I have no idea how to use any other things for eye make up or cheeks or anything. Could you point me in the right direction of where to learn (I'm fifteen so you know I don't want to learn how old ladies put on their make up just to let you know =]) I considered going to Macy's or a Make Up place or something to be taught but if there is somewhere online with instructions or something that'd be great too!
