you said inexpensive and people are recommending chi which is reaaally expensive. Go to sallys beauty supply and buy a flat iron. They go up to 450 degrees. I have super curly hair and their irons make my hair STICK straight. Ya gotta buy ion spray while you're there too. It's only 5 bucks and keeps your hair from getting fried. The iron is called jilbere, it's 100% ceramic and they range from 35 to 60 dollars. They also have a generic of biosilk serum for 6 bucks. I promise ya I won't steer you wrong.

try a flat iron before doing anything chemically... its not permanent, and you can get them for about $15-$20 at the drugstore.. they will last a very long time too. Conair wet-2-straight is the brand I use, and although I dont use it on my wet hair like it suggests you can (because thats very damaging) I love it.. because you can adjust the heat level. It can go from 10-25.

for daily use, try anti-frizz spray, or leave on conditioner. they work for me..

alternate :

1. got2be straightening cream + blow dry (cheapest!!! the cream is only about $3-$5)

2. straightening iron (dont forget use hair vitamin everytime u ironing)

3. go to saloon and ask for L'oreal xtenso hair smoothing

4. go to professional and ask for japanese rebonding (the best result, permanent, and the most expensive of course..)

Why dont you re-bound your hair from a good salon like loreal or Lakme... in re-bound your hair will become straight and will become very smooth.. but after that whatever the beautican tells to take care of ur hair... u have to do exactly... but its a gurantee that u will have a shine and ur hair will also be straight

I personally use Remington wet2straight flat iron and I love it. Most of the time, I let my hair dry a bit then I use the iron. I also use biosilk. It keeps my hair soft and it smells good.
