Hi. I've been taught by a friend how to do my makeup but I dont' really like it. All I put on is eyeshadow eyeliner and mascara.
No lipgloss no blush no nothing. I have no idea how to use any other things for eye make up or cheeks or anything. Could you point me in the right direction of where to learn (I'm fifteen so you know I don't want to learn how old ladies put on their make up just to let you know =]) I considered going to Macy's or a Make Up place or something to be taught but if there is somewhere online with instructions or something that'd be great too!

I'm 25 which I do not consider old lol. Anyway, I get a lot of compliments on my make up. For eyes you have a few options depending on your eye color. Take a compact and look at your eyes mine are very light brown, but when I look closely I can see little speck of yellows and greens. Try to match those shades for your eye shadow. The lightest color should go on the top just under your brow, the next lightest color should be a little darker than the first, starting at the inner corner of your eye sweep this color across the lid. Then finish with the darkest color in the crease. For eyeliner browns and greens are really good, or any light colors, stay away from black!!!

BLUSH, USE IT!!! It adds so much! Blush goes on the apples of your cheeks sweeping toware your hair line, careful not to make a line. Light pinks are good, but it depends on your complexion, try playing around with different shades.

For lips, I would stick with a clear or neautral gloss, that's kind of the in thing right now. Good luck! Hope this helped

Smile when you put blush on. Apply it in an upward stroking fashion on the apples of your cheeks. If you need a demonstration for this watch the episode of Full House where Becky teaches DJ. Don't worry about lip liner. Make it look natural. Less is more especially in the day time. If you want pictures and color ideas check out Bobbi Brown make up books.

Definitely check out http://www.BeautyRiot.com. They have a whole bunch of step-by-step instructions on how to copy the makeup looks of celebrities in the Celebrity Looks section. They cover all ages, from the Olsen Twins to JLo , etc. They also have everything from glamorous looks (Beyonce) to really clean looks (Hilary Duff, Jennifer Garner).

I think you'll like it.

Why don't you talk to mom about having a Mary Kay party, I'm sure someone around you sells it. It is a lot of fun, and you and your friends will all learn something new. They teach you what colors will look best on you and the best ways to apply it.

Its great what you have so far. I'd say add lipgloss/stick to your regiment you just apply it on to the red part of your lips. It is easy and simple if you mess up just use your fingers to wipe the mistakes in towards your mouth.
