I have blonde curly hair, and its really dry... also, about a fortnight after I go to the salon the colour turns brassy... I have thought about going dark, but I have always had blonde hair and i like being blonde, plus my boyfriend loves me light... aargh! Im also scared that if i go dark, ill hate it and wont ever get my blonde colour back :o( I just want to know what can do to make my hair soft, but keep the curls in place... i use mousse, but it goes all hard, and im just not a fan! Thanks guys! Any suggestions would be most appreciated! Have a happy chrissie!

My friend was blonde for yearssss. She would have blonde hair and then in the summer she's put brown lowlights in her hair and then in the winter she'd put red lowlights in her hair. Just recently she wanted a change, so she went a light brownish red. It looks awesome! She loves it too. If you're not ready to go completely dark, work gradually. You can try lowlights, or try going a light brown or something like that. But I mean anything like that and thats done to the hair can be fixed. If you're not happy with a dark color, hairstyles can get your color back. It damaging to your hair though and it might be some work depending on how dark it was. About the moose, get a moose or gel that doesnt say thats it a firm hold or something. Ya know how they have the levels on gel bottoms or something rating it and telling you how strong it is? Just get one thats at its lowest level and even if it gets alittle crunchy, you can soften it and take out the crunch with your hand by just going through your hair and dry scrunching it.

You can be blonde and curly, but it does usually make your hair look drier. Try using leave in conditioners and smoothing products instead of mousse. Mousse tends to have alcohol in it which can dry your hair out even more. As for your color, try a conditioner that has a purple hue that will help keep brassiness at bay. Graham Webb has one called Pure Blonde and Loreal Suri Professional has one called shine blonde.

Try Matrix Curl Life product line. They have a contouring milk (#3) that is wonderful. I use it on my clients with naturally curly hair. As for your color, you should ask your stylist if she is using an ash tone on your color. Ash should eliminate most of the brassiness. If not you should check the iron level of your water at home. Too much iron will cause color to turn as well. Again Curl life is a great product. It doesn't live your hair stiff or "crunchy". You will have a nice, soft curl plus they have a humidity resistant hairspray. It is called All Weather hairspray. Especially for those rainy days. Good luck.

Get Herbal essences! Get their curly shampoo, or hydration ,something like that. It's amazing! Use extra. And make sure with conditioner your not rubing it in, it makes a huge differences.
AND don't be afraid to use gell, just not everyday. If you do use it, make sure it drys before you add anything else.
DYING IS BAD FOR YOUR HAIR!
Brittany Spears is loosing her hair because over dying! And she gets it professional done!
Tip: Drink 8 cups of water a day, for most lucious curls, or any hair type.

Try using matrix Sleek shampoo and conditioner my friends with curly hair and I am addicted to it. They have a whole line. Maybe cutting back on the amount of mousse and using some antifrizz stuff instead.

helmans mayonase..and plastic wrap...ear it for an hour then wash, rince and condition your hair. Make sure that the water that you wash your hair in does not have a high iron count in it. Use leave in conditioner when your hair is still damp, and avoid blow drying it.

First of all, dont dye your hair! Blonds rule! ;)
About that dry look, try this kind of mix: poor some gel to your hand, and mix water to it, and then put it to your hair allover.
It will become more firmer.
