I got my hair done in a salon a little over a month ago. My hair is naturally light brown, but I got it dyed all over to a lighter, more golden brown, and I got golden blonde highlights all over. Now my roots are in about half an inch.

I want to change the colour now to a blonde that is more white than golden, and I'm hoping to do this with a box of normal dye from the drug store. What do you think the effect will be if I do this?

I'm guessing there will still be 3 different colours in my hair, and that's fine. I'm most worried about my roots though, I don't know what colour they would end up.

I could go back to the salon to get it done, but I'm feeling cheap, so I'm hoping a home dye will do it, but I don't want to ruin my hair either. Thoughts?

I have colored my hair several times and I want to get rid of them and go back to my natural color without dying again. Is there a way to remove all the dye in my hair without getting it done in a salon?

some nice styles for my straight, shoulder length hair that i could wear to school... that arn't to complicated and don't take long to do... rather than just straight down or in a ponytail... also i can't do it in single or double braids because its not long enough... any ideas? thanks

ladies with naturally curly hair what products do you find to work the best? i have tried many products and i find they leave my hair too stiff, helmet hair.or not enough hold so it still gets frizzy. No products over $10 dollars please.

She's african american, doesn't have a perm she has natural hair, and doesn't wear braids or tight ponytails. Her hair is just falling out, and I don't understand why. The doctors say it's because african americans have processed hair, but i've never placed a perm in her hair. Please someone help. I've tried hair growing grease that claims to work but don't. My aunt is getting married in March '07 , and my 5 yr old is a flower girl. I don't want her to be embarrassed walking down the ailse of the church.

I just bought this conditioner for dry & extra dry hair at a discout store and it is the best stuff I have ever used. Unfortunatly it is made in Thailand and I can't figure out how to purchase it here. The product name is Bath and Bloom and it is made by the Earth Factory Company. If anyone has heard of it or knows where to buy it I would be heaps grateful.

I have dandruff and I've used like every dandruff shampoo out there and some of them reduce it, but none really get rid of it. It's really bad. What causes this and is there any treatment that can prevent it before it starts? Also, dandruff shampoo really makes my hair look like crap.
