No, sorry to say braiding just does not make your hair grow. When people braid their hair, u don't put any heat products in it so that does help but most keep them in to long, don't actually take care of them and usually gets them too tight on their crown. What to do...well u should get to a Beauty Supply Store and get products to promote hair growth for your particular hair texture. Watch how much heat u r putting on your hair with curling irons and such, wash your hair with deep conditioners 1 to 2x/week. Get regular trims 6-8 weeks still. U just have to work on your hair and take care of it. It will grow back faster than just not doing anything at all. Good luck!

If braiding your hair they will have to stay in for at least one month without taking them down. You really need to do is message your scalp at least twice a week with a great hair dressing that contains vitamins and natural herbs, you will have to stimulate the scalp by making the blood circulate to your hair follicles to promote hair growth. you apply the hair dressing to scalp and hair line and and the temple area and use the balls of your fingers and message .

FDA has approved a few products for hair growth and medication to cure baldness like Rogaine and Propecia.
There are a few herbal products also for hair growth and baldness like Procerin and Provillus etc. Consult your physician before taking these medications.

Nope. That's not true. Your hair grows based on your own body's health and your age. Normal growth is about .5-1in a month. You just have to wait it out.
