I have colored my hair several times and I want to get rid of them and go back to my natural color without dying again. Is there a way to remove all the dye in my hair without getting it done in a salon?

All of these answers are basically wrong.....You will have to bleach it to remove the color....your best bet it to get really heavy highlights to drastically lighten the color so you dont completely ruin the texture of your hair...if you dont care about the texture of your hair...just bleach the dye out, and find a color dye close to your natural color, and then dye your hair after you bleach it.....there is no way to color it your exact natural hair color, unless your natural is black or really dark brown...just try and get as close as possible...since you didn't say what your natural color is

your best bet is just to let it grow out....if your hair is sholder lenght, this is going to take about 1 1/2 to 2 years

Are you talking about the dye that suppose to wash out within six weeks ? Or the did you bleach your hair if that is the case it has to grow out, but they do have something at the beauty salon where they can get it out,but if the color is red forget, been there done that and red is the worse color for them to try to remove it. Good luck!

No-- the formulations are totally one-of-a-kind. Semi-permanant colour coats the hair shaft or stains the skin of it at fine. Permanent hair colour is one who opens the scales of the hair shaft like a pine cone and actually dyes it and alterations the colour each within and out, and is "everlasting" in that experience till the dyed hair grows out or is reduce off. Your fine guess might be to re-dye your hair, making a choice on a everlasting colour that's one to 1-and-a-part sunglasses lighter than your typical hair colour and toward the ashy (or inexperienced) aspect of the colour spectrum. The ash tint will aid to tone down the crimson and deliver the total colour again practically your typical coloration. Choosing a coloration that's fairly lighter than your typical coloration will aid hold the ash tint from making you truthfully move darker than you wish to.

You can not undye your hair. A salon cannot undie your hair. All you can do is pick a color as close to natural as possible or cut all of your hair off. You can try to get close to natural then as your roots grow out do hi-lights to help hide the roots.

You could try a clarifying shampoo, though you'd probably have to go through at least a bottle (or three) to get a result. Try calling either a beauty supply store or a hairdresser.

Don't you have to strip it. You should just call a some place that does hair and ask this question. I'm sure they will have no problem telling you.
