some nice styles for my straight, shoulder length hair that i could wear to school... that arn't to complicated and don't take long to do... rather than just straight down or in a ponytail... also i can't do it in single or double braids because its not long enough... any ideas? thanks

Change the part around: you could do a part to the side, a center part, or off-center part. You could play around with barrettes or decorative bobby pins. You can do two ponytails or little buns with hair sticking out.

There is a great cheap magazine it he stores that will simply say best short cut or short easy styles ect. They have a lot of ideas in there and it sometimes shows you a picture on how to do it. I am a hairdresser and we even buy those magazines to put in the shop cuz they have cute pictures of cuts and styles. Good luck!

you could put your hair in a high ponytail or take half of your hair and put it up and leave the rest out

For curly hair (I easily have curly hair) I only placed it in a extreme ponytail and placed a scarf in. you may want to straighten it then curl it for higher curls. or you may want to straighten it then braid it at evening and contained in the morning it could be wavy. For instantly hair you may want to go away it down and placed some little ringlets (curls) on your hair. you may want to braid it then contained in the morning it could be wavy. you may want to braid it. you may want to scrunch it. placed large curls in it with a curling iron. only go away it down and placed a head band in it.
