i went on holiday and now that i have come back i have lost almost half the thickness of my hair and any volume that i had. my hair now is really really flat and has gone really thin it scary!!!!! is there anything i can do to get the thickness back of my hair and volume???? any suggestions will be extremely helpful!!!

I have mad curly hair and am getting a bit fed up. How does a hairdresser straighten hair permanently and does is do a lot of damage to your hair? Also how long before it starts curling again? I have tried straighteners but they don't make it last long even the GHD ones.

I've got a wedding this weekend, and need some ideas of how to do my hair, I;m not in in just my uncles, and most of my family is in it but Im a guest. My hair is blondish brownish and very long, almost to my waist. Its also veryyy thick, so i striagnten it every day to make it thinner. I need an idea for this weekend though? Something that I can do, and then will stay especially at the reception too. Also, if it helps my dress is a purple and pinkish dressy sundress. Thank you!

I recently colored my hair from a light blonde(my natural color) to a dark brown. Im really happy with the way it looks only its starting to lighten up even thought im using a color protector shampoo. Any advice on how to keep my color or how often i can recolor. THANKS!

I thought it would have been fun to go blonde for a change, to surprise my husband. Now Im more of a orange head. Ive heard some inocent remarks from strangers that Im a red head! I usaully use a cap for my sunkissed highlights. But my cap was with a friend who I wouldnt see for a while.I got impatient and couldnt stand the roots showing. So I bought one of these highlight kits. I showed my boyfriend how to take a lock of hair, split it with the zig zag pattern at the roots, apply the dye and put foil on it. Unfortuneately I forgot to explain, that he must dye half the lock, leave half, and move on to the next lock. So he just went ahead and dyed one half, then the other. I only realised the problem when he was almost finished and I realised there was foil on all my hair, not just some of it!I ran to the shower to rinse it out but to late! Instead of a half head of highlights, I had a half head completely blond! How funny. Anyways, do you ladies think I should put some lowlights in my original color in, or just dye it all back to the original color? And let this be a warning. Men and hairdye are a dangerous combonation!

I already dye my hair regularly (for grey coverage).
If doing both is possible, should I have a perm 1st and then hairdye or the reverse? How long should I wait between the 2 operations?
