yes you can dye it back to brown, but if u used color u cant strip it out it has already taken your color out. just get a shade lighter than your natural brown because it will always turnout darker. If your nervous about it then u should go to a professional.

you still have a chance at being blonde lol! if your hair is dark to begin with it must go through stages of red before it gets to a blonde stage. have you tried toning it out? it might give you a nice color and will get rid of alot of the red. try your local beauty supply store like sally's if u have one. get this stuff and follow below instructions. also before you tone your hair you might want to get some blonde highlights put in.it will help give you a more dimensional look.

1) Complements very light blonde
(natural base) #9n
2) Complements lightest blonde
(ash base) #10a
3) Complements color prompter.

mix in a plastic dye bottle 2oz. prompter with 1 1/2 oz. #10a
and 1/2 oz. #9n shake bottle for like 30 seconds to mix product.

next, wet your hair and towel dry. apply mixture and leave on for about 20 min. then rinse off.

this is only a demi permanent color and will not dry your hair out. however will wash out eventually and you will have to reapply in about a month.

the reason for the mix of ash and neutral is the ash gets rid of the red while the neutral gets rid of the green that can come with ashy dyes. good luck i have done this myself and it does work.

if all else fails dye it brown lol! its ok.

usually when you dye your hair you should use a stripper first that gets all the color out of your hair. I believe it's used for people with dark hair that wants to go light. so if you want to get your hair back to what it was before I would wait a little while... (couple weeks...this stuff dries your hair out) unless you wanna risk a lot of damage to your hair and then strip and color to the closest brunette you can find to your original... try beauty supply stores .....like sally beauty supply they have what you need...not walmart. or a pro good luck

well, its better not to dye your hair blonde, because when you dye your hair blonde, your hair will fall out, but if you dye it back, it'll be fine. One disadvantage about dyeing hair is that if your hair is naturally brunette, and you dye it blonde then you dye it strawberry blonde, then you dye it red, then gold, or something, the next time you try to dye your hair, your last color will show through. But if this is your first time dyeing your hair, go ahead and dye it ack to brown.

This happened to me as well and I bought the box of brown dye...it turned greenish...so make life easier for yourself and go seek a professional at the salon. They will need to take out the other pigment out of your hair and then dye it back to your natural colour.

if you have blonde hair it will naturally get bleached by the actual sun in the summer. There had been this guy in my class who else had golden blonde hair that had been a medium brown near the bottom. When he came back to university after summer vacation, it was nearly platinum blonde!

The reason why is everyone with blond, why aren't you just have jet black curly hair with some blonde or blonde hair with some jet black hair. Now you don't have to choose.

If you want to go blonde then you can go to a beauty supply store and try toning your hair with a blue based toner (try Wella). That should help with the orange tones or you could try dying it with a high lift blonde with an ash base 30 volume developer.
If you want to just go back to brown go for it you will want an ash based brown.
