I've been using all of their products for a couple of years now. I have seen improvements, but I also message my scalp with their Carrot Oil Cream. I have thicker, shinier hair, with a lot of body and it's not dry or damage and hold curls very well. I never had any problems with Mane 'Tail. I use their Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave-In Conditioner, and Carrot Oil Cream.

yes, it's safe to use. But it's not any better than any other shampoo. Let's face it a shampoo by any other name is still a shampoo. It's just another marketing ploy to sell a product. Each manufacturer of shampoo will use any means to sell it's product. It's not the only product on the market that originally was used for animal use, but they just don't want to turn off customers so they don't tell you what it was originally used for.

As a person who works at a horse barn, I can tell you that Mane and Tail is fine for both people and horses. Contrary to common belief horses are fairly delicate, so if something is safe for a horse, it is usually safe for a human. Granted, horses take MORE of certain things, but they DO tend to weigh several hundred pounds.

Yes, you can use it. It is not bad shampoo, I just dont like the idea that I can give a horse a bath with the same stuff I use.

You can use it but keep in mind how thick and coarse a horse's hair is. It might be too heavy for regualr use on human hair.
