Hair - September 2006

I want to have somewhat curly hair when I wake up tomorrow morning. How can I do that with putting curlers in? Any ideas are great! My hair is very thick and has lots of body. I don't know if it is straight or curly naturally because it is always different. It comes to my chin.

Highlighting Your Hair In The Same Spot That You Had Highlights,Your hair is being Ruined??My highlights,just faded out and Like 15 minutes ago,I redid them,like touched them up.So Is that gana break/damage my hair??I Do highlights for a number of reasons.One because I Inheareted Diffrent color strands of hair from my dads side Of my family.Like I have some red and some WHITE and some grey hair's which I dont want to show.

My sister had lice. She got it a about 2 years ago but she didn't get any treatment and she went to a doctor and asked about hair bugs but the doctor didnt find any. She only found bugs every few weeks or so for over a year. She hasn't found a bug in her hair since like last summer I think. How can i be sure she still doesn't have lice???

First off, I can be pretty hair challenged. I can do all kinds of stupid weird things with my hair that should never be seen in public, but simple hairstyles are impossible for me.
I have hair that has some natural wave, but it never looks right if I try to let it air dry or add gel or mousse. Frankly, it looks like crap.
I usually just straighten it or pull it up now.
Does anyone have any tips on simple ways to give hair a nice wave without it going all over the place? And I'd rather use a technique with little to no product in my hair. It makes my hair feel sticky, crunchy, or it smells weird....lol

Citre Shine Shampoo and Conditioner and & John Frieda's Frizz Ease Shampoo and Conditioner were by far the worst I have ever tried. Citre Shine left my hair a tangled mess. And JFFE was too heavy for me and did nothing to tame the frizz.

My hair is Dark Red, I am contemplating going blond but my skin is very pale. Has anyone done this? The choices I am considering would be to go strawberry Blond, or same dark base with blond highlights, though I am not sure the highlights create the same effect.

Can it be removed for good, any home therapies. I read somewhere in a magazine that you could purchase this tool, and its a laser and you zap the root of the hair yourself. Would this be likely to work, or would it be a con.

Any suggestions. Not for myself as I am a guy, but advice for a friends partner.
