well, nothing's gonna help the split ends except to cut them off, but to prevent future ones, try Neutrogena triple moisture daily deep conditioner (whew! what a name). and leave it on your hair for a couple minutes before rinsing! that's the main conditioner trick. for shampoo, try a garnier fructis one; i'm a total convert

Graham Webb Daily Strength Regimen Line, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Line or Matrix Hydra therapy or Volume therapy. Cut off the split ends, you cant mend them anyway. Not so much blow drying, air dry or get under a hood dryer. Don't worry your hair will grow back :)

My son is a hairdresser. He along with my own hairdresser say that in truth the cheapest shampoo you can buy does as good of a job as the most expensive. Most conditioners are a waste as you rinse them right out. The best treatment for your hair is a long one with a conditioner they leave on and heat for 30 - 45 minutes.

I used to believe that the more expensive the better but I now know that shampoo is pretty much shampoo, afterall it is used to wash the hair, however I do buy the hot oil treatments, they are not that expensive and use on my hair, split ends are "dead ends" and should be trimmed off, they will not heal.

Herbal Essences smells amazing and now they make them for different hair types.. also Brilliant Brunette...but I don't know what colour hair you have, they have .. Radiant Red and ... Sheer Blonde, also, I think. The brunette stuff worked good so I'm assuming the others do also.
