I want to have somewhat curly hair when I wake up tomorrow morning. How can I do that with putting curlers in? Any ideas are great! My hair is very thick and has lots of body. I don't know if it is straight or curly naturally because it is always different. It comes to my chin.

Did you mean WITHOUT putting curlers in?

Option 1 is to wash your hair (DONT COMB OR BRUSH IT) put some curling mousse in it, and then flip your head over, and scrunch your hair all together in a ball on top of your head and tie with a material scrunchie. Go to sleep like that and the next day your hair should be dry and curly!

Option 2 is to wash your hair and braid it. The next day make sure your hair is completely dry, then when you take it out it should be nice and wavy.

with curlers:
Shampoo your hair. Lightly towel just to get rid of excess moisture. Put a bit of gel in your hair comb through take sections about the width of each curler. Wind hair around each curler firmly and clip. Let dry naturally, or under a hooded dryer.
take out sections when hair is cooled sufficently and style and
go, add hairspray if needed

with curling iron:
Apply mousse/serum/etc. Separate a strand, clip the iron near the top of the strand while holding on to the end, and slowly pul the iron down a little at a time and turn the rod to begin curling the hair. This will give you a less poofy look, more 'refined' curls. You can then lightly comb your fingers through them to get the wavy look in desired places.

With neither: wash hair at night, then braid it while it is damp or wet. if you want, put a light gel or spray on it once you're done. then, wrap your head in a scarf when you sleep, and when you wake up, unwrap the scarf for beautiful curls

good luck!

If you have some body to your hair already, you simply need to wake up in the morning, mist your hair lightly with water and use a light gel or scrunching spray (Aussie makes a great one). I have found that braiding gives you more of a wind blown look as the day progresses so I would avoid that.

I have curly/wavy hair your best bet would be to get outa the shower and put some gel or mousse in it with some scrunch spray I love aussie's flex hold then scrunch it up w/ your hand. I always use a towel to gently scrunch it too just so you don't have soaking wet hair

braiding your hair will give you more of a crimp. If you wash your hair and twist it real tight in small starnd until it tightens into a ball put bobby pins in it to hold it that way it wont hurt your head then you should be able to finger through it in the morning then if it is a little frizzy use curl boost spray by redken to make it not frizzy and it wont feel like sticy hair product

Braiding it usually works for me. try not blow drying your hair for a while and you should see a trend with the way your hair goes...either straight or curly. When you blow dry your hair the heat tends to damage it so you need to let it heal a little before you can tell what it does naturally

you can try wetting your hair a lot and letting it dry till its damp, then put a lot of mouse make it be dripping with mouse and keep scrunching your hair upwards and then just for a quick finishing touch spray with a lot of hairspray!
