I have the wet to straight straightener, and whenever I straighten my hair it gets really straight untill a couple hours later, it gets wavy again. What should I do to make it stay straight?

I am mixed race and have thick curly hair, Im thinking of getting it relaxed but my mum thinks it'll ruin my hair and my curls will never come back :0(......I am so tired of doin battle with it though...I work shifts and just cant be arced with it sometimes...when i starighten it it doesn't last 5 mins! What do you girls think? Anyone had their hair relaxed??

One person told me that this was the best thing for lightening dark hair
1 teaspoon almond, cherry, or vanilla extract
4 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
2 cups water
Is there anything else i can use instead of apple cider vinegar? as i am allergic..

Ive heard that redheads get richer color if they put some of these ingrediants on their hair.

-Beet juice
-Carrot juice
-Rosehips tea

I have black hair, and its really long thick hair, but I have a hard time taking care of it. I'm one of those girls who likes to throw her hair in a ponytail all the time. When, I get a relaxer, my hair looks nice, of course, but then a few days later it looks really dry. I wrap my hair and spray it with oil sheen, and put some cream like stuff in my hair. But in the morning it looks dry, like I didn't put anything in it. I'm really jealous of those girl's whose hair looks "fresh" and shiny everyday. Can you guys tell me what you do or put into your hair to keep it looking nice until the next time you get it done? Your help is much appreciated!
