You need to follow up with your family doctor or a dermatologist - I can't make a determination without seeing it, but from my 21 years in the hair business, it sounds like a skin and scalp disorder such as ezema or siroisis (spelling is not right - don't have my book handy). They will prescribe a special cream or oil for the condition. If you act quickly the hair should grow back in the affected areas after it's cleared up.

Nexxus makes a good oil-reducing shampoo. It's kind of expensive, but it should help

It sounds like you have some kind of oil and product buildup. You definitely need to use a clarifying shampoo one a day. Only shampoo the roots (your scalp) and make sure to condition only the ends.

Open up and clean out your clogged pores by gently massaging your scalp (with shampoo) in the shower using a brush with soft bristles.

You can obtain a brush from www.superscalp.com or probably ebay.com
