When you get out of the shower, put some hair serum in your hair to keep it from getting frizzy. I use Pantene Smooth and Shine anti-frizz serum. Its in a little glass bottle.
Next, I would get a regular straightener and blow dry your hair completely before straightening your hair. The reason that your hair gets frizzy is because of humidity. The serum would help keep the humidity out and if your hair is completely dry before you straighten it it will help also.
Just don't straighten your hair all the time. It will damage your hair, especially if you blow dry and use the straightener every day. I only straighten my hair about once a week.
This should work and help to keep your hair sleek and straight. It does for me.

You need to get a good hair straightener. I own a Chi Hair Straightener. It cost me $125 but it is the best invention ever. I let my friend use it and she has the curliest of the curliest hair and hers stayed straight until she had to wash it. Look online and you can probably purchase one a bit cheaper.

Invest in a good hair straigtner. The one you have now is really bad for your hair. And continuous use will kill your hair. And when u do straighten ur hair, make sure u are using products specifically design to help in the process of straightning ur hair. U can find products at the local drug stores and salons....good luck!!

ok this is what has worked best for me...
either use frizz ease on very wet hair (liek a dime size amount, comb thru with wide tooth comb) then blow dry and flat iron (i have a chi, it works very well)
or you can use phytodefrisiant...works really well for straightening...makes hair soft and a lot easier to straighten...

Try using Aveda's Anti-Humectant Pomade before you straighten your hair. I love it.
