I've heard that Japanese hair straightening really helps. I know it's kinda pricey, but I think it will be worth it. But I'm still wondering about how straight my hair will get. Obviously, at the salon they will make it look great. But, how do I make it look nice on my own??? I dont' want to kill my hair with a million chemicals, but using some products are ok (I use Frizz Ease). Also, will I still have to go through the entire hair straightening regimen like always, or will there be less work on my part? Will my hair still frizz in the humidty? Can I go out at night and not have to worry about my hair pouffing up???

Ok i want to do this like right now.
I have hair half way down my back and it's all the same length all the way round.
Because the underside of my hair is dyed pink I want lots of layers to stop my hair looking too thick and bulky.I wan't more texture so it shows off the pink.
What is a quick way of doing this?
My hairdresser is on holiday and I can't get anyone else to do it because I have to see an afro stylist because my hair is so hard to manage.
Is it just a case of seperating the bit I want layering and hack away till I'm happy or there more to it?

So recently I have posted a question on how to encourage hair growth and also I looked up on it. I found out that I should not shampoo my hair more than once a day because that could be the problem why I am losing hair. Because I used to wash my hair twice or three times a day. So now, I have started shampooing my hair once a day, but I find that my scalp gets itchy and I start scratching. I usually shampoo my hair in the late afternoon (5pm-6pm) and I find that by midnight, I start itching on my scalp.

Am I doing it all wrong? Or is it the way I shampoo my hair? Any suggestions or ideas what I'm doing wrong here? Ways to solve this? Please help me. Thanks...

I'm Persian and my hair is pretty sensitive, and it takes a bit of work to make my hair look the way I want it to. I'm sure other Middle Eastern girls can relate to this. I can't just dry my hair and go out. Gel, mousse, blow drying, hair irons, relaxers...I've tried 'em all. My hair used to be damaged from all this, but it's much better now. When I get my hair relaxed, it stays under control more, but still needs work. I'm thinking about trying Japanese hair straightening sometime. I'd like to look nice and have some nice pictures in Hawaii, but that's not going to happen with frizzy hair...please help meeeeeeeee!!!
