These products may be harsh for someone that young. Also, hair coloration products are very harmful to the hair. That's why many shampoos and conditioners are tailor made for those who have colored hair. However, I would recommend a color wash. That will allow for the change of hair color, but will wash off the following shampoo.

13 is too young to start coloring your hair. Once you start, you never stop! Hair coloring products such as these are too harsh for a young girl's head.

They're safe, but hair coloring products are so bad for any one's hair. My mom let me color my hair when I was 13 and I continued to color it for several years. I'm 25 now, and my hair is just now back to it's natural, healthy condition. My suggestion would be to not allow your 13 year old color his/her hair. They will probably regret it later on down the road.

Its safe. Its just young to be messing with their hair color at that age. Hair dying is damaging to the hair and also thins hair out and I believe brings about premature greys. Ask her if she wants to have a head of hair that is dry and brittle, and think by the time she is 25. Because you cant just dye your hair once, you have to either keep on doing it to maintain it or if you change your mind, dye your hair back the color it was. If you can find a way to point out to her, maybe by comparing a celebrities hair with hers that it is pretty the way it is if not prettier, she may not feel the need to dye it at all.

Changing you hair color is okay, but some advice get Herbal Essence Hair Dye. I have seen girls your age dye their hair and it turns out terrible so when choosing a color try to get a color that is 3 shades lighter or darker than your naturel hair color. Then after you dye your change your shampoo to Herbal Essence Colored,Damaged, Dry Shampoo and Conditioner to keep your color looking hot! Good Luck!

I dont see a problem with a 13 year old changing their hair color. But I would recommend you taking him/her to a salon where they can make the best decision on what color it should/shouldn't be and ask the stylist what brands would be best.

In my opinion...no, it's not safe. I would definitely wait. My mom thought it was unsafe, too. The first time she ever colored her hair was when she did her "roots" (to cover up the gray) and she was 47 years old!!! Why start damaging your hair when you're so young? You probably have beautiful hair, try to wait until you're at least in college!!
