I'm Persian and my hair is pretty sensitive, and it takes a bit of work to make my hair look the way I want it to. I'm sure other Middle Eastern girls can relate to this. I can't just dry my hair and go out. Gel, mousse, blow drying, hair irons, relaxers...I've tried 'em all. My hair used to be damaged from all this, but it's much better now. When I get my hair relaxed, it stays under control more, but still needs work. I'm thinking about trying Japanese hair straightening sometime. I'd like to look nice and have some nice pictures in Hawaii, but that's not going to happen with frizzy hair...please help meeeeeeeee!!!

well there are several things that work for my curly frizzy thick hair is frizz ease hair mousse. when i get out of the shower i put it on my hair and scrunch it to make it curl better. or sometimes I use pantene pro v shampoo and conditioner made for ppl with curly/wavy hair then after i put the gel for it in my hair and that works well.

I'm Lebanese and if my hair doesn't have frizz control on it I'll have an Afro by the time i walk out of the house! I use Garner frizz control max strength, it makes my hair have a natural look and I don't have any frizz. Also after I shower, I towel dry my hair and put mousse on it right away, It keeps my hair curly and not very frizzy, but if that doesn't work try the frizz control, best used on semi-wet hair.

If you are still thinking of straightening I reccomend RUSK thermal straight. Its a perm solution to curls. I am not only a hair stylist, but have also used the product on my hair. It takes betwen 6 -8 hours, depending on the amt of hair, and ranges in price. But honestly, my hair was pin straight, even after being in the rain. The only problem is you have to deal with the curly re-growth. If you dont want to use straightening before you go, be sure to deep condition your hair a lot to help tame those frizzies, and use a gel. Mousse tends to add body to hair, and im sure thats what you dont want. Good luck and have a great trip!

Try Aussie 2in1 leave in conditioning mousse or Frizz Ease. I have naturally curly hair and have used both products in the very humid days of summer. Personally, I liked the Aussie best. Good luck and have an awesome trip!!!

I have very curly hair too and I live here. I find my hair does best when it is a bit dirty (not really dirty, but hasn't been washed with soap in a day or two). The oil keeps it under control.
Also, I like my pretty little hawaiian print visor that I wear everywhere just to keep my hair physically under control.

I actually have a similar concern in humid climate - i take advantage of Frizz Ease and Dove Flyaway Tamer. it rather is like a cream variety of, even though it does not make your hair greasy. the only undesirable ingredient approximately it rather is you probable will could reapply it each and every couple of hours. even though it would probable help you in case you used it remarkable earlier you took a image or some thing. It smells rather sturdy, too.
