Okay...does anyone have a really pretty casual yet elegant hairstyle that is for everyday wear. I am looking for a hairstyle, but it does not have to be that elegant...but not like a ponytail...anyone have a hairstyle???

Okay, it's obvious why I can't grow out my hair past my shoulders. I can't seem to part with my beloved straightener. It's completely dried out my hair. Anyway, is there a system out there that I can use that will wane me away from the straightener and give my hair a chance to grow back out? I've tried only using it once a week, but uh...I can't even wear my hair the way I want to... which is down. Most beauticians say it's not good to always wear ponytails, is there an option that I'm missing?

I've been asked by several different hairdressers in my life if I am part native american because of my hair; it is very straight, won't hold a perm at all, is very fine but very thick because there is so much of it, even in my forties. If I am in the sun for any length of time, it highlights very easily and grows very quickly. As it happens, I am part Cherokee, Choctaw and Laponi Indian, although most people don't know until I tell them. The hairdressers who asked me about my hair had no idea, just wondered from working with my hair. What are characteristics of my hair that would make them ask that question? Btw, I have dark to medium blonde hair, depending on how much sun I've been exposed to (summer/winter, etc), not black or dark hair. Thank you for your input!

I got my eyebrown waxed a while back, and she made them uneaven, and they wont grow back! Is there anything I can do, or use to make the grow back?

Well My grandmother and i both have really curly hair and we both have bad tangles....So we decided that we would try fabric softener as a conditioner!I Swear to god it works!!!!!!!!!!You guys have to try it...PS... We Used Downy....Mix water with a little bit of downy and then put it on your hair but DONT wash it out.....

because when I read beauty articles it always says to hold the blowdryer several inches away from your hair, and to blow in the direction your hair grows. every stylist i've ever been to will hold the dryer directly on my hair and sometimes even blow dry in the opposite direction, like, they'll have the ends of my hair rolled up in a hair brush and they'll be blowdrying it towards my scalp. should i not have tipped them for damaging my hair??
