There is a new technique salons use that uses a fine thread, like floss and they do a great job for shaping your brows. You can also put over the counter numbing cream on your eyebrows to tweeze them. I personally have mine waxed at a salon. Fast, cheap and it's so quick and easy, you are surprised at the lack of pain. I think waxing is your best choice.

Getting your eyebrows done will probably hurt, how much depends on how sensitive you are to pain.
To me, getting them waxed (always go to someone who knows what they're doing, and never, ever do it yourself or have a friend do it. Professional. Always.) doesn't hurt much, and then once their waxed, keep them up by plucking.
I don't, however, suggest plucking over waxing because to me, that hurts a lot more than waxing and it takes longer.

the best method is to get your eyebrows waxed. it will hurt a bit, but u will get used to it. it is better than plucking because the pain lasts longer as u pluck it one by one...
when u get it waxed, the hairs will come out all at once, and it takes less time...
GOOD LUCK!!!

Waxing is the only way to go! It only hurts for a minute! Plucking is painful and it hurts one hair at a time.

There's really no way around the pain, but I would go with the waxing method (as opposed to the razor) b/c it will last longer.

You should check to find out which style suits your eyeshape best by checking out some magazines, then talk to a person who has experience with different forms of hair removal. Tweezing is a bit uncomfortable at first, then you get used to it.

First~ go to a person KNOWN for eyebrows.
Most it will hurt the first time, the efforts are well worth it.
They frame the most important thing on your face- your eyes.
Good luck!

i pluck my own, primarily because i like being able to pay attention to minute details and having control over the outcome. once you do it a couple of times, you don't even notice the pain.
