As others have said the majority of your hair is dead and devoid of nerves, this is why when you pull a hair it indeed does hurt since there are nerve endings right below the hairfollicle.

Hair are dead cells. Since the cells are dead and have no nerve cells it doesn't hurt

it doesnt hurt because there aren't any nerves, and the only "alive" part of your hair is near your scalp and the roots...except it doesnt hurt either...

Cuz you hair is all dead cellls, so you don;t feel anything, when cut.

your hair is already dead ...so you don't feel it unless there is a not or something then it pulls at your scalp
