I have the hardest time finding pants for work! I work in a professional atmosphere and cannot find dress pants in my size! im only 5ft tall and weigh around 100 pounds! I wear between a size 0 and 1! the problem is all the pants are too long! I would buy some and get them hemmed but that cost quite the chunk of change! I would hem them myself but I dont know how! so what are some good stores to shop at (Exclude Pac Sun... I already know that one thats the only place that I can find pants at, but dress style is limited)? Also where could I possibly pick up the skill to hem pants? Like a local fabric store (looking to take classes maybe)? HELP! So frustrating!

I was considering getting my ears pierced for the 2nd time on each ear. I wanted to wear my engagement earings & another pair at the same time. I have diamond stud engagement earings that I only take off to clean- I wear them because I dont like the look of 2 rings on my wedding finger.. I am unsure about getting this done as I do not want to look cheap or tacky & I work in a legal ofice. What do you think?

When I was growing up (and it wasn't that long ago), I remember hearing "a man should always remove his hat when goiing inside." It showed a sign of respect. Now men wear baseball caps turned sideways and backwards and all other kinds of hats. It makes them look like they don't want to be inside and are ready to leave. Have manners gotten completely obsolute in this day and age?

another question for transitional eyeglasses.....I just ordered them and i will have them on the 15th and i feel i made the wrong choice but then again, i just do not know. I heard that when they go back to being clear, they have a greyish tint to them??? is it really noticeable?? best answer 10 points and any other additional info about them would be great.I was going to get a pair of prescription eyglasses and then a pair of prescription sunglasses as well but i did not want to have to worry about 2 pairs and then the guy told me about these and i went for it.

My sister bought me a real Louis Vitton bag over a year ago which I've used into the ground and finally the lineing inside has all ripped. Things don't last forever but is that ungrateful should I therefore keep and try and get a sewing shop to reveive the inside?

I bought a beautiful "gold" brooch in the shape of a fly or bee. There are some lovely stones decorating it i.e. garnets, topaz etc and there are some inscriptions which I can't make out. It is very well made and I think it could be either Victorian or edwardian. How can I get it dated and also find out the value. Our local Jewellers have never seen anything like it before.

i'm 24 now (25 in another week).

and its funny have things have changed sooo much, school 10 years ago in the 90's, it was cool for the school kids to have all the adidas brands, kappa, nike etc (trainers/trackybottotms/jacke... and if you wore thick goggle glasses you got teased.

now your known as a 'chav' if you wear all brand names, it's cool to wear thick goggle glasses and clothes from primark :O

damnnn how things change so much (i sound like my dad now), isn't really a question but just felt like posting it ;)

I am wearing dark gray pants and planned on wearing a dark purple sweater. The sweater is low cut and you must wear a camisole. I have previously wore a white cami but thought it would be nice to wear a coloring coordinating one. I have a lighter pink cami that I think would like nice. Would that look good together or should I stick to the white?

With references to various articles in the Internet, men had started to wear pantyhose in public since the 90s. In medivial times, it is understood that many actually wear tights! Now, many companies had noticed an increase of pantyhose demand from men all over the world, on the other hand, the demand from ladies had declined over the years. Prominent companies such as L'eggs had already started taking notice of the trend and it is also understood that acceptance that men wear pantyhose is because of the comfort and warmth in can give, anyway, who does not like soft fabrics as clothes? In Singapore, many men also wear them under pants, but too 'embarrassed' to confess to that. I am here asking about the acceptance of men wearing pantyhose in Singapore and I hope in this island country, people can be more liberal in the clothes they wear. Please give comments. Ladies are encouraged to answer and men can voice their concerns.
