another question for transitional eyeglasses.....I just ordered them and i will have them on the 15th and i feel i made the wrong choice but then again, i just do not know. I heard that when they go back to being clear, they have a greyish tint to them??? is it really noticeable?? best answer 10 points and any other additional info about them would be great.I was going to get a pair of prescription eyglasses and then a pair of prescription sunglasses as well but i did not want to have to worry about 2 pairs and then the guy told me about these and i went for it.

As someone who works in the optical field, I have seen customers who loved the transitions and swear by them, and others who think they are the worst thing on earth. As for the tint, it shouldn't really be a problem, but as they get older, the lenses tend to turn grey (or whatever color you chose) instead going back to completely clear. The key question to ask is what are you using them for? Transitions can be very helpful if you are sensitive to lights, but they are no substitute for sunglasses.Transitions do get darker, but not as dark as sunglasses do and they don't offer the same protection as polarized sunglasses (beware, not all sunglasses are polarized). Also, many people find that the transitions don't get darker in the car, when they are driving, which can be a major problem. If you are outside a lot and/ or do a decent amount of driving, polarized sunglasses would be the best for protecting your eyes. Ultimately, you have to see what works best for you. Hopefully the store you bought them from has a good return/ exchange policy in case you change your mind. Hope this helps :)

Thank you to your trust in us as considering, rational humans. That mutation happens, thereby generating new species isn't evolution however genetics. That a few of these mutations are handed alongside (once they produce an competencies) due to the fact that the 'new' species is extra positive is traditional choice. That is really exclusive from believing that at the groundwork of 2 fossils which might be an identical besides for a mild shift, it's only statement. The concept that this proves one species developed from one more is referred to as a idea...transitional fossils, despite the fact that correctly recognized, don't seem to be evidence, they're proof. Even if it may be demonstrated, to suppose that this demonstrates how ALL species got here from a previous species is referred to as wild hypothesis. To categorical that this is going again to a transition from inorganic topic or primordial soup, and that every one species descended from that's referred to as conjecture. Thank you for the hyperlink...it's continually fascinating to be taught.

I am on my third pair of transition lenses. They only stay grey for a little while. Within 5 minutes of coming inside you will never know they were dark. I love mine. Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten 3 pairs. I am fairly light sensative and these glasses are great. You'll like them if you give them a chance.

Good Luck.

I've had transitional eyeglasses for awhile. It's not noticeable. At least mine aren't. Of course it depends on the amount of light also. It depends on the type of material the lens is made out of also. http://www.allaboutvision.com/lenses/photochromic.htm Look at this page it will inform you more about what you have ordered. Good luck I think you will fully enjoy them after you get use to them. I do mine.

They can stay gray for awhile and they look super dorky when they are gray.I have never seen anyone who looks attractive in them and the are worth crap when you drive. My husband wanted to get these so i put the glasses on in the eye doctors and said would you want to see me in these all the time? The eye doctor had a shade you pulled down to see how they work and he said "eeew your right they are ugly" I think they are even worse for women. And honestly how long does it take to put on a pair of sunglasses? Take five seconds out of your day to put on regular sunglasses or get instant sunglasses with severe dorkiness?
