In clothes? Go to a large dept. store like Macy's and ask a salesperson for help. They are trained to help customers choose flattering styles. Don't be afraid to try on outfits that you had never considered wearing before. Open you mind to new possibilites: new colors, lengths, details, etc. You can also get a make-over at a cosmetic counter. I recommend Prescriptives. Then get a new hairstyle at a good salon.

When you go shopping, buy whatever you like that first catches your eye. Don't match it exactly they way they show it on the store manequin. Wear it with something you pick out yourself. Eventually you will discover what things look great with each other. Sooner or later you will find other people trying to copy your look.

You should play with different people. A little with this group, a little with another group, bla bla bla. Some people will just ignore you, so you need to find another group of people. Some will find fun talking with you and hang out around you a lot. Then find out which group you want to be in the most. Usually you should choose the one that dont ignore you and care about you. When you did then look at what that group's style is. Youre one of them.
