Do multiple piercings on ears look cheap?

I was considering getting my ears pierced for the 2nd time on each ear. I wanted to wear my engagement earings & another pair at the same time. I have diamond stud engagement earings that I only take off to clean- I wear them because I dont like the look of 2 rings on my wedding finger.. I am unsure about getting this done as I do not want to look cheap or tacky & I work in a legal ofice. What do you think?

Yes,

Second piercings and beyond do cheapen your appearance. You said it when you said you didn't like the look of two rings on your wedding finger. Even mated bands, unless styled very carefully, can detract form the sophistication of a well designed singular ring.

Ear piercings are the same. No matter what you add, it will detract from the primary classy look of a diamond. The biggest difference for you is that you don't look at your ears near as often as your finger.

The only thing that can make your ears look tacky is if you wear your rocks to big. I do have two piercings in each ear and wear Small size Cubic Zorconia. My hair is long. I have not had anyone or any problem working an office job having them. However, I think large size earrings can look tacky. It all depends on the size of things.

I do not think it looks cheap or tacky under one condition... if the studs are small (1/2 a carat) then sure why not if they are MUCH LARGER than I would say no dont do it.
it really is not a big deal and NO it does not hurt to the point where I would say OUCH OH MY GOD DONT EVER EVER DO IT!!!!
Just clean it daily twist the earring so it wont get stuck and onc it heals you can remove the earrining whenever you want to.

i went in to get my second set of piercings on my ears at age 20 (the first set i got at age 12). the lady doing piercing did my left ear first - it hurt so bad, i just said forget about the second ear, this is fine! at 38, i hardly ever remember to put in my regular set, let alone a second earring. i stopped putting an earring into that second hole at about age 26, because it was just a pain in the butt. that piercing is basically closed up, but you can still see the hole on my ear.

I don't think that two sets of ear piercing always look cheap, that depends on the earrings you wear. but i would advise that you think twice before doing it, as you will be marked for life, even if you decide not to ever wear the second set again...

Although I don't think it would look "cheap", I think it would be inappropriate for an office setting. It would be a nice look outside the office. Get them if you really want them and only wear the second set on the weekends and in the evenings when going out.

I think it also depends on your hairstyle. If your ears are mostly covered the majority of the time, then it really shouldn't matter.

I honestly have 3 piercings on each ear. i don't believe of evidently tacky in any respect, evidently fairly classy, on account that I positioned on 2 pairs of silver stud earrings and 2 diamond studs. i'm getting compliments each of the time. i imagine you'll want to positioned on both pair jointly. It looks very fairly and substances somewhat some thing on your conventional unmarried-pierced.

Well, they sure as hell DO NOT make you look cheap.. But If your already dressed "cheap" then they can most certainly enhance the cheapness by 100%... And since you work in a legal office, I BET it'll look very nice with a professional outfit... Go for it!

I remember in high school I used to really like the one ear had 2 peircings and the other still only had one.

I don't think it looks cheap. I'm getting both mine done with about 5 holes on each. Just depends what kinda earings you wear. I'm sure your not gonna go with rainbow like a child.

Looks like you might like PAIN. Only if you keep them on the lobe not all the way up the ear! Sometimes you see those people with so many holes in there ears or nose or eyebrows, it doesn't look good, it looks kinda punky or morbid I think.
