Hey,
It's not at all ungrateful! I think your sister would be happy you liked the bag so much you have used it until it has fallen apart!
If the outside of the bag is in good condition and you still want to use it then why not get it repaired? It shouldn't cost too much and it will make it look so much better... but if your over the bag and don't like the thought of having an inferior interior, then maybe donate it to someone? Its a nice gesture and then you wouldn't feel so bad about getting rid of it.
=)

No its not ungrateful, you love the bag and have used it alot, you have got your use out of it. There are places that can fix the lineing, so if you love it that much try and get it fixed. But you move on from bags and so does Louis Vuitton, they have many more newer designs so go and get a brand new bag. I'm sure your sis will understand, over a year is a long time for a bag, i change mine every couple of months.
If you don't want to use the bag anymore its not ungrateful but time for a change, im sure your sister wont find you ungrateful!

of course you should repair the lining of the bag but get it done properly through Louis vitton otherwise you'll be really annoyed if it breaks again in a couple of days! and by the way if you were my sister i would be so pleased that you loved the bag so much in the first place x

I know exactly how you feel, I have a bag that I have had for years - I like the feel of it, the strap fits my shoulder without slipping off and I know exactly where everything is in each of the pockets. I put in a new lining a couple of years ago, and have bought special polish to keep the outside looking good, so keep you bag and get it fixed, you won't regret it.

Often a problem is an invitation to new learning. In this instance the problem is establishing your sense of value for the bag and your sister as well as inviting you into the fashion business.
It may be Our Lady's way - perhaps you have a recently deceased female relative - of getting you to take up the needle; it may even be a sign of impending pregnancy.
The fact that you're asking the question means its relevant and that you should fix it.....
Enjoy it all

I think you should get it repaired. A good bag is worth trying to save. I definately would prefer to pay the price of a few stitches rather than a whole new one...

I would get the bag fixed inside! If you like that bag that much then you can keep on using it, when it gets fixed!

Get it repaired! I't won't cost much to get the lining sewed back together. Don't be silly by throwing it away that would be a waste!

If you love the bag surely it's worth trying to save? It's worthwhile getting a quote surely?
