I wonder why you want to turn your wedding ceremony into a comedy show?

I'm also newly married and take it from me....your wedding day is not the day that you want to use to put on a comedy show!!! There will be enough unplanned funny events that will happen.
Also please keep in mind that the pictures are forever!!! In theory, you'll only do this once.
There is nothing wrong with being different, we did somethings different in our wedding also. But make a statement in another way. Perhaps your music, food, theme of your wedding, but role reversal is a little "strange" and may freak some people out.
I take marriage vows very serious and I feel not everyone would enjoy your stunt. Maybe you should write your own vows and include some humor.
Good luck with planning and congratulations!!!!

Sure it sounds like fun on the drawing board...
Don't want to seem like I'm cuttin' you up but...
You guys must either be really young or this is a 2nd or 3rd wedding for either of you...(or you both are comedians or something.)
If that's what you want, that is what you want... just consider how you feel about getting married/commitment... is it a joke to you?
Are you going to pay a professional photographer to document your occasion?
You mean to tell us you are willing to stay in the dress all day? Wow! must be love! (grin)
If you do the dress, will you be wearing makeup as well as all the jewellery and accessories....what about your hair, a wig perhaps?
Hope you have some spening money to go all out... alot of waxing may be involved!(legs, chest, arms...)
Will she sport any facial hair for effect? No makeup for the lady?
Sure, I would've liked to wear a suit for mine but for me it was a one shot, one day thing so we looked traditional for our future selves and kids.... We customized/personalized the rest of the wedding and our guests were pleased & surprised how different the experience was for them.
Just wear a white 'fancy' pant suit unless you have fantastic legs you want to show off... and get awesome shoes.
You may have to go to a drag supply store for a better fitting dress or you may have to pay alot for tailoring/fitting.
Thanks for reading...
Best of luck to you and your groom!

If this is what you and your wife to be want, then do it. I would stay away from strapless or short sleeves. You should start wearing lingerie under your male clothes to get used it. Have her start teaching you how to use make up. Get a pair of heels and start wearing them around the house. My wife and I are thinking about doing something like this for our 15th anniversary in a couple of years.

if you are serious i would suggest that you wear white trousers and a white silk loose fitting shirt with perhaps soft frill cuffs to be the bride.
she can wear a womans tux jacket (and all accociated trimmings) with perhaps a long (pencil?) skirt rather than trousers.
that might actually look nice.
