Please only answer if you are a piercer, or have a similar(facial) surface piercing yourself!! Thanks.
I am really concerned it is rejecting. It has red lumps on either end(at the holes) and the lumps, and the area surrounding them are hard. Occassionaly puss comes out (!) The ball at one end is slightly indented in one of these lumps. It has been furiously itchy in the past week.
About a week & a 1/2 after getting it done, I knocked it, and upon a visit to my piercer, he said it was infected. I am cleaning it 3-4 times a day with a sea salt solution, trying my hardest not to knock it, and eating healthy, as well as taking multi vitamins!
It was pierced with PTFE which I hear now was not the best thing for the piercer to use.
What should I be seeing in a healthy piercing at this stage along?
What can I expect to see in a rejecting or migrating piercing?
Are any of the things I mentioned above normal for my type of piercing?
I appreciate your help people!!
Thankyou.
