no, I don't think so. You are very pretty, don't get me wrong. But you are awkward featured... your eyes are very small, your face is too oblong shaped, & your lips and nose are too full.

dangerously_n_luv05 is only partially correct. If you're shorter than 5'7", you can't be a runway model but you can be a commercial model. Commercial models do catalog work, tv commercials, industrial films, cd covers, music video, etc.

As far as your look...no one can tell you that you are or aren't modeling material...look at how diverse models are today. One agent who says you can't is only one of tens of thousands of agents out there who can and may just as easily say yes you can.

If you do decide to get started, and I can't tell you how many people I've had to tell this to, DO NOT pay any money up front to anyone claiming to be an agent. The only thing you should pay for is professional head and body shots. If an agent asks you for money before he or she gets you any work, walk out of their office and never go back.

The only way an agent should make their money is from a 10 to 20% commission that they get from you AFTER they've gotten you a job. (They also sometimes get fees from casting agents, but that's another matter and has nothing to do with the model).

To find a reputable agent, try the Ross Reports which is a part of Backstage Magazine. They have a directory of agents all over the country for every talent you can name, including models.

You may have to subscribe though so see if Amazon or your local bookstore has a copy for sale. You can get them at news stands here in New York, but I don't think that's the case for the rest of the country.

ure so pretty honestly. but i know that its very difficult to sell mags when we only see half of ur face, and ure eyes arent showing. try taking pictures that show ur whole face. and work with it. smile with ur eyes more. try giving different posses. if u need any help with that, look through some mags and copy from the models. taking pics that only show half of ur face works best when u pose with men, or doing some kind of climbing, or just when photographers tell u to. but u sure can be one. =)

Most, I'd say 99%, of the agencies are rip-offs. Most models make it on their own or are discovered while being a waitress. You are pretty, but personality goes a LONG way.

Best of luck.

yeah you have a unique look i guess... but it would help if you did a head on pic. also modeling today is about simple beauty so wear less make up or figure out ways to make your makeup less obvious
