find a place online that sells piercing needles and use one of those. don't listen to everyone else that says a sewing needle...you won't get the gage you want. Plus with a piercing needle you can actually pierce the skin and insert a temporary needle into the hole for you to wear a couple of weeks until it heels. Make sure you sterilize the needle very well. Step by step you should 1) Make a dot with permanent marker where you want the hole to go 2) hold ice to the dot to numb the pain 3)stab 4) wash with mild soap every day twice a day for 2-3 weeks. Just be careful and if your needle comes out sanitize and replace it immediately. Good Luck!

once you ask this question at right here of course all of us's going to tell you to no longer do it. yet you sound notably desperate, and getting it performed professionally could be an issue, and multiple money. i've got pierced my lip possibly a dozen circumstances, friends all peirce their very own. Use a thicker stitching needle, purchase a sparkling one or an previous one. sparkling with cleansing soap and water. sparkling your mouth.. mouth wash and what no longer. sparkling the front. certainly, i did no longer fairly do each and every of the I purely did it, got here out advantageous.. yet on no account saved it long adequate to tell you if something went incorrect. My buddy saved hers, the only differene i actually word between professional and unpro peircing is the scar left afterwards.. while doing it unprofessionally the scar could be notably damn sizeable except you're fortunate. once you get it professionally performed, it purely sounds like slightly hollow afterwards. Uhm, in case you word it getting contaminated purely take it out. No biggy. lower back, i do no longer advise it, and individuals will possibly call me an fool for telling you this yet I propose I doubt you probably did no longer ask this question at right here to pay attention "do no longer do it" so good luck EDIT: TO the girl WHO reported THE soreness would be TRMENDOUS. it heavily isn't, you do no longer sense SH*T!

We all know that oral and face piercing should be done by a professional. But he will prob. do it anyway. I would clean the area with alcohol and ice it. Then take a needle ( clean it with alcohol.) pierce you lip, then clean your lip ring/stud whatever, and put it in. It can get infected. I did my belly button and its fine. I don't recommend it but that is how you do it.

I'll be honest. I let my friend pierce my lip with a thumb tack. It hurt like crazy, but it looked cute afterwards. Make sure you clean the needle off REALLY REALLY well... infections can happen very easily and they can make you very sick.
I used some Orajel for the inside of my lip and stuck ice on the outside to make it numb. That probably helped the pain.
Be safe! and don't do it yourself, because the pain will make you want to stop half-way through, trust me.
Good luck

OUCH!
I recommend you get it professionally done.
You might not pierce it directly through and it will look lopsided.
and it looks alot better professionally done anyways I'm going to save you the lecture on what can happen if it gets infected, I'm sure you already know.

You could use a sewing needle to pierce, and an icecube to numb your lip. That's the way girls used to pierce their ears at home.
Keep in mind, though, that your mouth is home to billions of germs and a lot of nerve endings. If you don't do it correctly, you could lose all feeling in your lip or it could get very infected.
You might want to go to a professional for this one.

I don't really think that this is the best and brightest idea you have ever had.
Suck it up and pay a professional to pierce it for you!

Well, I just kind of shoved a rind through it...but it could easily get infected. be careful! And there's two layers of skin, so when the ring goes through one of the layers, don't stop pushing! or else you'll freak out and have a half pierced lip.

dont unless your a professional.
use antiseptic and sterilise the needle (or whatever your going to use) before you pierce it.
well i think thats about right..
get some better advice search it on google!
but it would be better to get it done properly or it could muck your lip up.

Oral and face piercing should be done by a professional. There are some risks in doing it yourself. Like hitting a vein, a nerve or an arterie. Please go to a professional!
