Do Guys Like Make Up?

My Dad hates it.
But I really want to wear it... just wondering

I know! Some of the hygenists at my orthodontist (there all women) look like a big chunk of foundation or mascara is going to fall off

I don't, my favorite is a girl in sweats or pj's. I think that's really cute. Or maybe jeans and a baseball cap.

It all depends on the person and how it's done. From my personal perspective, MOST ladies/girls do not think they look anywhere near as good as they actually do. A little bit of makeup, done so it accents your natural features can be great for special occasions. Too many ladies tend to overdo the whole thing and wind up looking like they've painted on an entirely new face. To me this is wayyy less attractive than a natural look with very little or no make up.

I honestly don't think they do.

I've been married 13yrs and honestly I never wear it. I didn't when I dated my husband either.

I remember one day when I was about 16. I was a tom boy and total nerd. I was 5' 1" (I still am), thick glasses and my mom forced me to wear a boyish hair cut! Gross! Well one day I put on a bit of make up on the bus. A guy I knew and had a crush on he go climbed on the bus and looked at me.

"Take that off!" He told me. I was shocked and thought he was teasing me and being mean. But he told me it looked fake and he didn't like girls in make up!

I'm a huge fan of books about the Amish. The series "Abram Daughters" by Beverly Lewis is great. I like reading how beautiful girls are with their natural look.

When I was with this one guy, he suggested I wear make-up. So I got some. I would have fun putting it on sometimes, especially after I got make-up brushes, and took care not to overdo it.

There are guys who hate, and some like it as long as it looks natural and it actually enhances your features.

I remember when I was carrying my child I had gotten some pressed powder to cover up the redness of my cheeks. But then, after a cuople times, decided not to cover it up.

I fee like a woman should be comfortable in her natural look and not feel as she's got to wear make-up all the time, and just feel goo with what she has. After all, all that matters is who you are on the inside.

Keep to a more natural look. If putting make up on makes you feel better about yourself then you will seem more confident and men love that. However, no guy likes to go to bed with a beautiful lady and wake up with a beast so make sure you aren't over doing it to the point where you don't resemble yourself. Also, guys don't like bright colors, my dad used to tell me I looked like a drag queen :)

My dad hated it when I started wearing it, mostly because I wore too much! But I soon learned that less is more when it comes to make up, so you don't look like a clown. lol.

My boyfriend likes it ok, but he likes it when I'm natural and don't wear any, too. Just depends. In the end, I don't think they care too much though.

Ack! Most girls wear Way Too Much! Too much lipstick, too much eye shadow. If you own any blue eyeshadow, THROW IT AWAY! Who are girls trying to impress! A cowboy just in from the cattle drive or a prospective high end husband?

At most a man will just put on some cologne. But normally just after shave when he is going to his average daily life not a date.
