Arsenic is a chemical element.
It's not strictly a poison, that is to say because it is a naturally occurring element, it was not created by anyone and therefore is not strictly speaking a poison. However, it is highly poisonous to people, and many animals (it is used as a pesticide, and insecticide).

It is poison. Its really common among KILLERS!! I was watching a special on discovery channel called Most Evil. and this lady killed her husband with Arsenic, Its horrible because you cant smell it or taste it, but it starts deterriorating your insides, you get high fever and die in about a day. Depending how much Arsenic was put. Its really cruel.

It's a poison. Women used to put small amounts of it in a face powder or cream to help lighten their complexion.
