My original hair is a dirty blonde maybe light brown. I have been dying it since I was younger (cant remember the exact age apprx. 13? & now 17). It has become too costly for me to keep up with getting it re-done every month considering I have to pay for it myself and have other expenses. (I hate growing up!!). I decided to do it myself but have only ever redyed it, never just a root touch up. Now I am noticing that my hair looks worse and worse every time. Tonight I put low lights in it myself thinking it might be less maintenance if I have some darker color in my hair. It made my roots look 10 times worse and I have to do something with it. Any suggestions. I know I am not supposed to do my hair too much but it looks terrible. I am thinking about going to the salon tomorrow and just starting from scratch? dying it dark blonde and getting highlights. I would love a spiral perm but understand it is too much to do to my hair. Any blonde suggestions on maintenance?

I want to do something different with my hair... I have pale skin and my face is oval. Currently, my hair sits at my shoulders and is brown on the bottom and the top has 2 different blondes... I do have very thin and fine hair. I was wanting to go darker with a slight tint of blonde.... I was also wanting to go really short.. In 2 days in a salon I am getting streaks at the bottom of my hair.
My hair color is dark brown that looks almost black & I have alot of layers. What shade of streaks will look good?
i will not choose permant hair dye.
I like purple will a dark purple look nice
or burgundy or redishh
But i dont want my hair to be too brightly colored.

I have a smallish (2" x 4") dragon tattoo on my outer thigh that I've had for 10 years. Sometimes, when I get a mosquito bite on or near the tattoo, the whole tattoo will turn into a hive. The swelling will be confined to just the area that's been inked. It doesn't itch, and the swelling goes away in a couple of hours. It's happened maybe 8 times since I got it, but seems to be happening more frequently. The inks are black, blue, yellow and green. Has anyone else had this happen? Does anyone know what causes it? I'm not really worried, just curious.

I had ear surgery almost two months ago and the scar is behind my ear close to my hairline. I'm sure the chemicals will get on the scar so that is why I am asking. Or if there is a way to do it or have it done that it won't get on the scar.

Im 15 and my mom won't let me get my belly peirced. I got a color remover kit and some pink hair color and I really want to use it now.

Only issue, I conditioned this morning. Can I *pretty please* use the color remover today anyway? or do I need to wait til tommorrow? I thought I read somewhere that bleaching/color removing was a no no on freshly conditioned hair.

Someone tell me quick (please LOL) :p I'm ready to open the box and go to town! I need my pink back!!
