Get some rubbing rubbing alcohal mix that with some white vinigar. Then when you have that stir it up in a bottle. And put about 5 drips of nail polish. I know it sounds weird putting polish in nail polish remover. But it works!!! TRUST ME!

I really wish I could help with this but I think the only answer is that there really isn't anything else that works in the house. When I was younger, my mom wouldn't let me wear nailpolish, but I did anyway...but I obviously couldn't ask her to buy me nailpolish remover cuz she'd find out...sooo I tried to invent my own. I tried alchohol..vinegar..and everything..but nothing really worked. I ended up picking it off (which is really bad for you)... sooo yeaa I'd give up and just go to the drug store and get a bottle, it's really cheap and it lasts for a really lonnnng time, so it's totally worth it =)

In short, no. Nail polish remover is acetone. You can technically make it but you'd need some pretty mad chemistry skills to make it in your bathroom.

Try going to www.wikihow.com. Type in 'How to Make Homemade Polish Remover'. It might show you how to make it.

Why go to the trouble of making your own? You can buy remover very cheaply - under $2.
