they make electric trimmers for this problem and you don't want to get rid of it. nose hair has a purpose, to keep things like lint and dust from making its way to your lungs.

I you're like me, and hate even the really short stubble left by trimming, then use tweezers. People here will say that it's dangerous, or that particles can enter your nose. While the latter point might be valid, for me it's worth whatever minute risk there is in it. I've been plucking my nose hairs to baby-butt smoothness for over 10 years and have never gotten sick. I would love a more permanent solution, but teezers are the way to go for me right now. If you do pluck, pull the hairs slowly for complete removal. Pulling quickly (like removing a band-aid) will only break the hair early. You might as well have just trimmed them at that point. Plus, that is dangerous because you have no control when you pull quickly. Pulling slowly might hurt the first few times, but it doesn't hurt for me at all. A tear here and there. But that's likely a nerve response...kind of like sneezing. Also, sneezing happens from time to time as well. (Sometimes if I need to sneeze, I pull a hair to induce it) I have had no adverse effects over the last decade. I still have full sensitivity in my nose and it doesn't make me bleed. If anything, it has incresed sensitivity. If I breath through my nose I has feel the tiniest hairs, and it drives me nuts so I carry tweezers in my pocket. That might be the only down side. But let me stress that this is anecdotal. I am not a doctor, and you take any possible risks into your own hands.

I cut them out every other day. Nose hair grows very quickly. And, try as I may I cannot find a permanent way of stopping the growth. A word of caution. Take care if you are considering depilatories. They can result in scarring . The same goes for ear hair. Which, by-the-way, I find equally deplorable. Safety scissors for both unwanted hair growths done about every other day seems to do the job for me. Mike

To remove hair temporarily, use a nose hair trimmer.
To remove hair permanently, use a soldering iron.

its bad if you remove your nose hair permanently because the mucus your body makes work together with your nose hair. So when you breath in through your nose the crap from the air gets stuck in the hair then the boogers trap it. So nose hair keeps you from getting sick =)

You dont want to remove your nose hair! It stops dust from going up your nose. If you remove it all you will soon be picking out brown hair buggers.... gross.
If you have some stray hairs, get a nose hair trimmer or pluck them out with tweasers

Get a shaver with an attachment for your nose ans ears, and use it once a day. That should keep them away.
