Am I completely missing something, but whats with this trend? Some call it "preppy" but its far from it...can anyone help me and explain why looking like a vampire who lives on the streets is "cool" now??? I appreciate it. Thanks.

I have a yellow tank top that I REALLY like, it is very comfy and form fitting, but you can see my bra through it and it's not like I can just not wear a bra... any tips? I really really like this shirt.

I have dark brown hair, looks black(not dyed...my natural color). Will lemon juice help lighten it? I know it helps people with light hair. If so, can you give tips or instructions on using it? If not, are there any natural methods to lightening very dark hair.

There's a lot of rough skin on my heels and around my nail beds. How do I get rid of all of it? What products or tools should i use?

The glue comes out really soon after it is applied.
with regards to braiding method, how do you secure the ends of the braids?
The other methods, which are clip in for one, the clips are so big and bulky that they add alot of size and bulk to the head and they must be redone every morning.
last method is wire rings, which seems fine, but I have seen these things displayed slighlty in everyones hair in plain view at social functions

which method do you think is the best? are there any others?

I've been getting my hair cut at the same place in Bethesda for years but after a horrible haircut that still hasn't grown out, it's time for a change. My hair is the worst kind of wavy - I have a professional salon flat iron but because of the bad haircut it doesn't look good enough to leave down and I'm almost positive it would never look good natural, no matter how much product I put in it. It's also dyed red and obviously fades easily. I'm looking for a great place that will listen to me and won't ruin my hair. I'd also love it if they could teach me how to style it so it will look good even after I wash out the blow out and use my flat iron. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ok so my friend and me is goin on hoilday and she wants to get waxed down there we are 17 is it wrong to not want to is there anything wrong with that does alot of women get it done .. does men care if there is hair there ? and if not do you have to trim it she says she been trimming it for a while and cause she wants to wear a bathin suit she gona get all waxed but if i want to wear one in the pool will i need to get waxed down there aswell then get waxed from then on ? plz help thanks ...x

i wanted to but a jacket online and i dont know what size i am..it says the smallest available is 38 regular and the biggest they have is 40 short...is that in inches? like how many inches from shoulder to shoulder? or what does it mean...im slim so id usually be a small or S in jackets...are those too big for me? how would i know what size i am?

I want to make my hair look professional, well-kept... but I am used to wearing it down and unstyled. I do not even know where to start with how to fix it up, and how to fix it up.

Any suggestions?

My hair is about 4 inches below my armpits and I have bangs that are somewhat long. I also have a big forehead that needs to be taken into consideration.

So, it's my 12th birthday. I have no clue on what to do. Any ideas for a theme, games, party favors, place maybe. last year i had my birthday at embassy suites (i rented 2 rooms, and invited a lot of girls over for a sleepover. we went swimming, orders pizza, and got free breakfast. good party.) so now my mom won't let me have another over the top expensive party. i'm open to any ideas. any party planning/ idea book would be fine to. please, anything. and, i know this is the wrong category i just figured more people would answer this way. i'm that desperate.

i am in the process of planning out a sleeve which will be my only tattoo. i really like the theme of the st michael archangel scene and i came across an artist's profile that incorporated that with traditional japanese tattoo. i havent seen anything else on the web which blended styles as this. i am really into it becasue i love that japanese style as well, but is there something negative about altering the style. again, i ask this becasue i havent seen anything else like it.

Ok, I've known him for a LONG time like since we were both 13. He's grown into an extremely handsome man. He's over six feet tall thin but muscular and the nicest guy in the entire world. The problem is he doesn't know anything about clothes. He has these favorite shirts and drab khaki shorts that he wears over and over and over again. His mom asked me to take him shopping for new clothes cause the old ones don't fit him anymore (he's a growing boy lol lol). She's tried and just gave up on him when he told her he likes th clothes he has. I generally don't shop that much but this is an opportunity of a lifetime to help him pick out some cool new summer clothes and have someone else pay for them. What can I do to get him to ditch the old clothes that are getting really too small for him.

I had a girlfriend of mine cut my hair she just got her beautician license. I wanted the hair cut like the Pantene Model for their Iceshine shampoo line. Where it has longer bangs, a chunky layer just below the jaw and another one about collar bone lenght. The back is long and all one lenght. The back looks good she never touched it.My friend messed up she cut my short layer at my cheek and the longer one adam apple lenght. How do I regrow my hair? It looks like hell.
