in my view a tattoo's a personal life thing, you decide it according to what's meaningful to you - and so if you don't know what you want, you shouldn't get something? especially if you decide it on the basis of random people's ideas! anyone else concur?

i have yellowish light brown eyes and golden blond wavy hair.
i an considering dying my hair to red. i'm hesitating between orange-red like in "run lola run" or red, i dont want it to have a brownish shade.
i'm quite tan, and my skin is a little bit yellow! weird, i know...
my cheeks are always flushed (a fact that annoys me). will red hair suit me, and if so, what shade of it?

So what specifically do your tattoos mean to you guys? I think that the majority of people here who get tattoos here have a rhyme and reason for doing so. This is also something that by the way I hope the vocal minority of people who always espouse how dumb they think tattoos are so maybe they will think twice and shut up.

The only tattoo I currently have is a raven. For me it is hard to explain why and for some this may sound dumb but I have always felt really connected with ravens as if a raven was my totem animal. Thus I choose to get a raven

I used to dye my hair black. Now its blonde again from many many foils at the hairdresser. The underneath is brown. The tips are orangeish because the black isnt compleatly gone from there. Near the roots it is light blonde but my dark blonde regrowth is coming through. Should I dye it at home? I want to dye it light blonde, the same as near the roots. Will it work?

Please be specific, if possible...for instance gender preferences and placement preferences.

Do men look better with eyebrow piercings or women with tongue piercings..should tattoos be placed only in certain places...and be of only a certain genre' of art?

What are your preferences, for yourself, others or the opposite sex in terms of sexual appeal??

I have several tats and piercings & feel that they are beautiful, but I must confess that placement and the genre' of art matter to me...I am not partial to cartoons and feel that certain piercings and jewelry are sexier on certain genders.

Let us in on your preferences...should be fun & interesting to hear the different takes.

Even from those who dislike them. LOL ^_^.

Why do you girls ruin your real beauty with nasty tattoos and body piercings? Are you that starved for attention,or do you do it cause every one else is doing it? Do you really thing it looks good? i cant decide between butterflies around my ankle/ on my foot w/ my nickname, or on my back/shoulder blade. do tribal designs tend to blur later on more than regular or not? or is that ink? which place would be best for first tat? i also want to eventually get a portrait on my back somewhere as well, in memory of my brother, would it be dumb to get butterflies and that portrait both on my back, and if any one knows any REALLY GOOD artists in KY or TN please tell me!
