it's one thing to do it in some commercial ad, that's not what models do on the street

A lot of cleavage can be tacky and gross at any age. Myself having a rather large chest since I was about 14, I didn't start wearing any kind of low cut shirts until I was at least 17, 18. The problem is there are so many perverts out there. If you're a young girl showing a lot of cleavage, some men may see that as an "invitiation" and could lead to some very bad things. It just breaks my heart seeing these young girls trying to look so much older and then getting raped or worse because of it. You'll have plenty of time..the rest of your life...after you turn 18 to be an adult and dress like one. Sorry for the preaching :) just had to get it out

13-15 way too young. 16-17 (especially in school) not a good idea.

As a woman (who was a girl) with cleavage at a young age. Its not necessary to show it until you are ready for the stares and leers.

Girls think they want that attention, the media makes it out to be glamorous, and hip. It looks trashy in young girls, and young women.

It certainly depends on the occasion, swimming, summer clothes, (depending on the girl) is bound to show some amount of cleavage... Some formal wear, will show some amount of cleavage, that's fine, (depending on the age)

But going out of the way to show cleavage is unacceptable, since young girls should not be sex objects.

If ur going to bare half of ur bust, u had better be prepared to handle the situation, guys leering at u and older men doing the same. Being labeled cheap is not worth the price of exposing too much cleavage, especially at school or on the street.Might be acceptable at the beach, otherwise save that exposure till ur an adult.

A young girl showing off a lot of cleavage makes it seem like the girl wants to be treated like a sexual object. Personally, I think it's entirely inappropriate, as she is under age (showing off cleavage will not only attract boys of her own age, but older men will be looking, too). Showing off a little, not such a bad thing, but still edging the line.

Being 16 and having a small chest, I adore v-necks--there's no chance of me "spilling out." (And the shape is flattering to my face, which I find a plus.) Before 7th grade, I'm against girls wearing cleavage-baring shirts. After that, it's not a problem to me as long as they aren't wearing something entirely too showy in general or very showy in polite company.

I think it is really gross on girls under 16-17. As well as attracting boys their own age, they get perved on by older men and that is really dodgy. Yuk. That is sick. But hey, I am an old fart 30, so what do I know???

Jailbait has NO business showing her hot stuff, teasing guys (and some girls) into temptation of playing with fire.

My take on the subject: cover up till her 18th birthday--she's on her own after that.
