Why do you girls ruin your real beauty with nasty tattoos and body piercings? Are you that starved for attention,or do you do it cause every one else is doing it? Do you really thing it looks good? Girls,,,,,it makes you look like an idiot,but I guess you will do anything for attention though-how sad it is that you think you have to do this cause it makes you look better! people laugh at you behind your back ya know?

"Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder"...which essentially means, "Your Opinion only matters to You". LOL
Tattoos and piercings have existed in many cultures for many thousands of years...to some they are a way of ruining a person's body or "Temple".
...to others they are a way of decorating and adorning their "Temples".
The choice belongs to those who choose to do it and they will likely attract those who also find it appealing and a form of personal art and expressionism.
My boyfriend loves my tats and piercings, you obviously would likely not...who do you think that I would likely be more apt to find attractive, you or him?
Date girls without them, you have that option...just like the sparkling, colorful Goddesses such as myself, will stay with men who appreciate our lovely adorned temples.

Whyyy? Why would you ask such a stupid question?? Just because you don't like them doesn't mean theyre ugly. They get piercings because they want to, or because of cultural/religious beliefs. And some piercings actually do look good on people, belly button piercings look good on almost everybody. I admit that sometimes there are peeople who get tons of piercings, or a piercing that does not fit thier face, and it can look bad. But it's thier body, their choice. If you don't like it, don't look.

Are you intelligent enough to comprehend any of the answers that disagree with your personal perspective? More importantly I’d like to know when evolution is going to take effect so this board is not placated by retarded questions like this. You may find it interesting that when I got my tattoo and was talking to my artist she said the average age of her customer’s these days are people in there thirties. While plenty of people have gotten tattoos on drunken whims there are just as many that got the tattoos because what they got have real meaning to them. Personally I don't think you should get a tattoo unless you know damn well why you are getting it and what it means to you. Do you wear makeup? If you do I am sure the reason isn't for insecurity and because it makes you look better? Do you know that the people with tattoos laugh at people like you behind your back because of how goddamn stupid and arrogant statements like this are?
I will concur that I think too many tattoos does start to look dumb but beauty is a relative concept that is different to everyone.

I'd imagine we get them for the same reason boys get them. Because we want to. I personally couldn't give a crap how much attention I do or don't get, I have tattoo's because I want them.
It's all in the eye of the beholder as to how beautiful it is.
And as for people laughing behind our backs, if they haven't the guts to say it to my face their opinion isn't worth jack anyway.

All of us girls who choose to get tattoos, do it for us, an expression of what we are feeling and who we are, we wear tattoos and piercings for us, not to get acceptance from people like you, who judge us..
Its fine if you dont like them, find someone who doesnt have any, if you are actually that shallow.
But to get on here and insult 90% of us who do have body art / modification, who are you to do that, and to say that people talk behind our backs... Did you just post this to get a bite?
Oh, and when I get married, my tattoos are going to be shown, its who I am, and I am sure alot of girls out there think the same..

I've been married 20 years and have a 13 year old son. I'm way past wanting to get attention or caring what anyone else thinks. To laugh at people behind their backs about tattoos - if you do that and it makes you feel better about yourself, then more power to you. But surely you realize that with the way society is, someone is probably laughing about something about you behind your back. Don't be naive enough to think not. People with tattoos are just more confident about their bodies, tend not to care about what people think, and in my experience, are the least judgmental people I know.

I like tattooed and pierced women as much as someone that doesnt have them, after all its the woman that you should go for not the mods. As many others have stated, its an artform that dates back for thousands of years, theres references to modification in so many historic places. Some may do it as a fasion fad, not something that I believe in, but its no more wrong than wearing the seasons fasionable clothing. As for people laughing behind their back, anyone doing that has a lot to learn.
If you dont like it, dont look, its not like your forced to.

Now YOU are the one getting all the attention. I bet your momma didnt let you breast feed as a child huh? Tattoo's are a form of art, each one with a specific meaning to its owner. I have 25 tattoo's, I'm 33yrs old, married for 10 yrs, have five kids.... I'm not seeking attention because baby, I already have it!

Mark it is called free will and it is great that you have your own opinion, so you can have this hateful one-sided narrow minded view of an art form that has spanned thousands of years, many different cultures, continents and genders. We don't give a crap what others think. What makes girls so different from guys? You must be so close minded to ask such a question. My tattoos mean something to me. They represent who I am. I got them for me, I don't give a **** what others think of them or how they make me look. Plus, I think you must be the only guy out there that dosent think girls with tattoos are sexy.

Wow. You have issues. Guess what. I have tattoos, I love them, my husband loves them, and I have people come up to me on the street to tell me how good of a job my artist did. I didn't get them for you or anyone else. Only me. I could care less what you or anyone else thinks, and people that get tattoos for the right reason are the same way. If you don't like my tattoos don't look and if you don't have anything nice to say, keep your mouth shut. Q.E.D.
As far as people laughing at girls with tattoos, I think you are the only one. How pitiful. I feel sorry for you. Go get a hobby and quit obsessing over what OTHER people do with their body.
