get a professional cut. it can be really cheap and then all u need to do at home is style and maintain it. Even some layers will make ur hair look professionally styled. if u want to make it look healthy and sleek, you could flat iron or curl it urself but always start with a good conditioner to keep it shiny. i think all u probably need is a good cut, then u can continue to wear it down and unstyled but it will look great without much effort on your part.

I would suggest going to a good salon in your area and talking to a stylist-not only will you get a good cut, but they should show you a couple of different ways to style and wear it...I personally think that if you want to have a professional image and keep the long hair, then you will have to learn how to put it in a bun or some other way of keeping it out of your face. That will still look pretty with long, side-swept bangs that help conceal the forehead.

I would get side bangs. They're stylish and they will cover your forehead. Also I would try cutting your hair about 4-5 inches and get a professional hair stylist to help you out.

i think if you would like to look professional ,you should tie back your hair in a chignon (a fancy fench word for a tight bun). You should put it on a bit of an angle on the lower side of your neck. NOT sticking out to the side like you would with pigtails when you were 5. Hope it helps!

for starters, get a really cute hair cut that you really want and love! try straitening it. i have a CHI, which are amazing straiteners, but oh so expensive ($110-$130). if not, just experiment with hair styles and find one that suits you
