I don't want to just wear the normal flares and wig. I was thinking along the lines of an iconic 70s figure in either music, film or society at large. Any ideas?

There's going to be a small get-together from tomorrow afternoon till evening, and it's the day before their wedding. The crowd will mostly be some grave figures who don't lighten up easily. Hence, I don't want to look too dressed up for the event.
I've decided on a forest green outfit with some dark pink flowers embroidered on it. It's a cotton one. And, I'm going to wear a low ponytail with a zig-zag parting in the middle. But, I don't know what jewellery to wear. I don't want to wear a necklace 'cos I'll be wearing a shawl. I'm 22, BTW.

I'm looking for a really good hairspray to hold curls but keep them bouncy, a good conditioner or treatment for dry or damaged hair, and finally a good spray on or comb through treatment to protect you hair when using heated appliances.

I have a Tag watch. Have had it for 4 years and haven't ever had a problem. I noticed yesterday that the second hand is now ticking in 5 second intervals. do you know if this means I possibly need a new battery? I called Jared where it was purchased and have to take it in and they have to send it off to TAG - they couldn't give me a price for a battery or approximate. If anyone has any ideas on the price for the battery or the possible problem please let me know! I have no problem having it professionally taken care of, I just want to know what I am looking at spending.

does waxxing make it thinner? and does less hair grow back?

bc shaving jsut makes the hairs thicker and darker and is a pain...

and i cant afford lazer removal right now...

Hi my mum is having a hard time in finding something to wear to my wedding. She is 49 years old she doesnt mind me telling her age and she is very petite and a size 10, the thing is she wants a knee length dress thats in a pastel colouor like lilac or dusky rose, or anything that isnt a dark colour as its for a wedding. The thing is we have looked in everyshop you can think of, Next, ,dorothy perkins, monsoon,top shop, new look, marks and spensers, and all they have is dress either black or navy or with hippy patterns on which my mum said she doesnt like. When we look at the sites for mother of the bride they all start from a size 12 and are far to long. So it there is anyone who knows where she can just get a plain pastel coloured dress, it can have a bit of detail on it but not alot. Thanks
